The food was very good. The staff at check in were not friendly and told us we would get a tour of the hotel and never got one. The room was hot, no AC was working and the beverage friedge was not working, sliding door was open amd broken lock.

Loved our villa, but besides the resort was only ok. Some staff we re wonderful, others felt like you were bothering them when you asked them for anything. The acrobatic show was great. the pool was on the hotter side due to it being August (understandable but wish they would’ve pumped cold water into it), and the beach was not usable due to the sargassum, but again that is not the resorts fault.

This resort has the best service and really good drinks! They make your stay very welcome and friendly and made my room very clean to stay. There are some things to look out for which is the beach was full of this brown stuff (I can’t say if it was seaweed or not) that normally in the hotel zone they would bulldoze out but here they didn’t and so a strong fragrant smell of that sargassum made it difficult to stay. We also couldn’t go into the beach water because of it. Another is the food. This is for the dinner restaurants. You have to wait so long for the food to come out just for the food to not be good and I basically had to pick at it. I came in hungry but barely ate and left full. Besides those two things the resort was great but unfortunately those were two major things that the resort should focus on.

I saw the bad reviews before going to Dreams Sapphire but thought it was just picky people complaining. Unfortunately, I was wrong—they were absolutely right. The food quality was awful across almost all the restaurants. The only decent meal we had was at the Japanese restaurant and a late-night taco cart, which also had the only friendly service. Everywhere else, we had to wait nearly two hours to get a table, and the staff was rude and unaccommodating. The hotel itself is very old and run-down. The pool is in bad shape, with broken tiles and poor maintenance. We paid extra for the Preferred Club (Indigo), thinking it would be worth it, but it was a complete waste of money—especially if you’re traveling with kids. Most of the “upgraded” facilities are adults-only, so families get no real benefit. In short: Don’t go. There are far better hotels in Mexico.

The staff was very helpful. The beach was filthy. I wish this could be made public so people don't book with the intention of swimming at the beach. Also, I would recommend upgrading the housekeeping. We stayed 13 nights and had to keep asking for towels. Also, they only changed bedding twice. But made the beds, which don't make sense. Lastly, I would give it a thumbs up for the staff being very polite and helpful.

Je suis déçu et en colère car j’ai l’impression de m’être fait arnaqué. La raison de ma note est l’absence totale de nettoyage de la plage envahie par des monticules d’algues. J’ai réservé une grande suite avec accès direct a la plage et petite piscine privée faisant face a la plage. J’ai payé le prix total. Je me retrouve face a des tonnes d’algues amassées depuis des semaine sur la moitié de la plage et une odeur horrible de pourrissement. Ce phénomène est naturel (cependant accentué par les changements climatiques) et je l’accepte. Ce que je reproche a l’hôtel et a Expedia c’est de ne pas être transparent sur cela et de ne pas m’avoir averti avant de faire ma reservation. En plus de cela, l’hotel ne fais aucun effort pour enlever les algues de la plages et ne met aucune protection dans l’eau autour de l’hôtel pour réduire la quantité d’algues s’échouant sur le sable de la plage. Tous les autres hotels dans la region le font, tous les jours. Toutes les villes aux alentours le font aussi et la population profite de bons moments sur la plage. J’ai visité les alentours et d’autres hotels et je l’ai vu (j’ai loué une voiture qui m’a permis de profiter de moments sur les plages aux alentours avec ma famille). Et oui, j’ai du quitter la suite pour aller a d’autres plages privées! Le plus choquant est que le personnel reste impermeable aux feedbacks: ils disent tous les memes phrases apprises par le management de l’hôtel: ce phénomène est naturel et on fait ce qu’on peut.. Faux!

I really the VIP access thanks to Expedia. The resort was beautiful but the food wasn't the best. The resort doesn't offer your typical bacon and sausage for breakfast. We end up getting breakfast at the preferred club or ordered room service. The restaurants on the resort doesn't offer reservation. It's first come first serve basis except Teppanyaki. They only take reservations for the Teppanyaki Chef's. Which was booked every day during our stay which sucked. The buffet serves the same food everyday. The resort had a terrible smell. From my understanding it was seaweed season, I'm not 100% sure if that was the reason. We also couldn't enjoy the beach because of the seaweed. It was close. If you like the beach, you won't be able to utilize it. I reserved 3 rooms for my kids and mom. I upgraded all rooms to the rooms with the jacuzzi on the balcony and ocean front. The Jacuzzi's were disgusting! I wanted to downgrade to our previous rooms but that no longer an option because they weren't available. Our family vacation was ok overall but 2 of my kids were ready o come home after 2 days at the resort.
