This property was average. I would not stay here again. Food was not good, it was hard or without flavor. Drinks were watered down. I got the all inclusive and was told several times that some items were not included in the all inclusive. Employees had terrible attitudes, only 1 employee was very polite and helpful, shout out to nacho who helped us book an activity and find our way around the hotel because front desk did not even do that.

I love this property. The team is so friendly and kind. The ocean view rooms are amazing. The balconies are large and have space for eating and relaxing in the sun in the early morning. The on site restaurants are all great. Good proximity to outside dining.

I've stayed at this Royal Sands Resort four times. They have changed a lot of the dinning choices this year. Some have been removed like Captains Cove and LaVerandas Mon-Fri buffet is no more. They have a limited menu.

The rooms were beautiful and the view was amazing. Beach was pristine and pools were well appointed. Nacho at the concierge desk was friendly and helpful. Daniel and Oliver at the pool bar were amazing, and Filberto and Pedro at Hacienda Sisal were also top notch. The Veranda dessert bar at lunch was SO good and beautifully made to top it off. I've never seen anything like it, even in Europe/high end patisseries. However, the meals were average with one exception - the food at Hacienda Sisal is incredible. We went on Thursday evening and the live music was also amazing, with a singer so good I had tears in my eyes. Beds, unfortunately, are VERY hard and the pillows in the room a little over soft. Overall I feel like we got a good value and the location was worth it.
