"The building is a bit out of date and needs work in alot of places. First impression when I got to the hotel was not too good, the steps leading to the front entrance are cracked with pieces of cement coming off and in need of a good paint job. The handicap entrance is quite a distance away from the main lobby entrance. The room was a good size but dark, very few lights and was hard to work at the desk. The bathroom was fairly clean but was not cleaned well after a recent ceiling repair over the shower. Still paint stains on the floor and wall. The free breakfast should not even be called a breakfast, more like a snack. Nothing warm other than the toast you prepare. No jam for the toast but they did have peanut butter but one of the packets I had tasted very stale. The juices were very diluted with very little flavor. The hot beverage selection was coffee, never noticed hot water for tea or a decaf selection. The staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. I may stay here again but the price would have to drop considerably."

"Friendly staff, nice room, reliable Internet. Jacuzzi tub was great and the king bed was super comfy. Breakfast was delivered to our room. Beautiful sunset view of Callander Bay from our front balcony, with a nice little 9-hole pitch and putt golf course in the back. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "
