Breakfast was good for a fast meal. The first couple days, pancakes were offered but not for the rest of our stay which was a disappointment to my family. Staff was great and the bar food was very tasty. Elevators were somewhat overloaded and took time to get up to our floor. Several guest were on the wrong elevator for their floor. Maybe better signage for those guests.

Breakfast was great but would have preferred browned beef sausage. Also early morning seating is difficult. Room and mattress were comfy. Men who handle storing luggage before and after check in were top notched.

Came to NYC for a Broadway show and some touristy things. The Fairfield was in a good location being very walkable to many things. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There is a station in the lobby to schedule an airport shuttle or the bell hops can schedule a private ride. I chose the private option which was basically an Uber Black XL which was very nice. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Excellent location

Excellent location and daily room service. The breakfast stood out among all the hotels we visited - classic American style, but with a wider variety, tasty, and uniquely included fresh salad. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. The room is small but that's expected. There were times in the morning that we had to wait for more than 15 mins for the elevator.

Having breakfast included was a perk. Main complaint was the A/C. Room never seemed to cool off or have good air flow. Had to open the window to help. Elevators take a long time during the breakfast rush, just get on at your floor and ride all the way up and back down, or you’ll be waiting a while. Good location near Times Square and Penn Station, but my least favorite location I’ve stayed in NYC as far as immediate area outside of the hotel.
