This is a fairly new hotel so everything is still in very good condition. My room was large and comfortable. Some reviewers have complained about the area being gritty. It is in the center of a large North American city so yes there are unhoused individuals in the area. But I felt safe and it is walkable to many things. Something the hotel should have invested in, being central in the city, was triple glazed windows. That would have substantially cut the street noise. But all in all it was good value for the money.

It was intolerably hot in the room. The air conditioning was working on heat and it was not possible to change it lower temperature. When I requested help from maintenance the only thing they were able to do is to open the window and promised to resolve the issue next day but nobody did anything, it was the same hot temperature in the room the next day. The staff was completely indifferent to my problem.
