Shady Arena Blanca

We arrive at this place and the person in charge told us that we were responsible for paying the electric bill if it was over certain amount. There was no way to know how much electricity we would use and that information was not disclaimed when we made the reservation. The lady also said not to use the air conditioning that much; one of the reasons to book this place was having air conditioning with temperatures over 90 degrees Fahrenheit. She showed us “damages made by the previous tenants” and said that we would pay for any other damages that she would find upon us leaving the place. We were going to pay with a credit card, as it was an option on the website, and she said that we needed to pay her the 3% that the company would charge her. She kept adding things that we’re not disclaimed in the website. The lady kept changing her story every minute and said that the real owner was in Italy. We left the place since we found that the whole situation was shady. We were very disappointed and frustrated as now we needed to find another place to stay while carrying our luggage and traveling to Mexico. I would not recommend this place at all.
