"Clean room - I even wiped it myself and it was the cleanest I’ve been to. Showers hot and great pressure. Nice lounge downstairs. Staff was all helpful and remember you. Small boutique hotel on an upscale and quiet street. Train station 3 blocks down or 3 blocks up. Laundry facility 3 blocks up. An abundance of food around. Nice touches like automated curtains, nightlight in the bathroom, a doorbell on the room, complimentary items. The only negative is the beds were too comfortable. I didn’t want to get up. There is a fridge in the room that could be colder."

"The room was clean and comfortable and nicely styled. It would have been helpful if an extra blanket or throw and robes were included in the room. The location of the hotel was ideal for visiting Lincoln Center, the Met, Central Park, and the National History Museum."

"Plus: This location is close to Central Park! Negatives: Where do I begin? If it wasn’t the hotel room from Hell, It was surely three nights in Purgatory. In the first room we were given, the dresser drawers did not stay closed (an accident waiting to happen) and the bathroom door wouldn’t latch closed (Cave men had more privacy) so they gave us another room, marginally better at best. Our room for 3 nights was cleaned once-last day there. No hangers (none!) in cramped closet provided, no hook on bathroom door. If you want drinking water you have to get it from faucet/sink — or buy bottled water. The bathroom sink sits partly over toilet-SAFETY HAZARD!! The sink/toilet proximity made it necessary for one to perform an advanced Yoga twist just to sit on the potty. Who designed this nightmare?? The old but functional AC would have been satisfactory if it didn’t sound like a lawnmower every third cycle. 0ur total bill with taxes/fees came to $1165. Basically, your paying for location."
