Was in town for a wedding, and this unit was perfectly located for me.My Wife and i really liked the easy access to False Creek, and then a nice walk to Granville Island.The unit was very nice, and better equipped than i had expected. If i am ever back to Vancouver, i will be sure to try booking this unit again.
Very well stocked kitchen. Comfortable bed with choice of pillows. Lots of extra amenities (sound machine, toothpaste, mouthwash etc). On a busy street but bedroom at the back of the unit. Loved having underground designated parking spot. Felt safe.
The apartment was just what I was looking for. Comfortable, very nice location, close to Broadway etc. Well-appointed. Perhaps the instructions for using the door lock when leaving could have been a little clearer, but Iâd definitely recommend the apartment to anyone.
Check in was easy. Having a secure parking spot was really good. Nice amount of space and ability to cook, order in or walk to places was very convenient.Sad the fireplace wasnât working. Recommend a non-slip mat in the bath. It would take a long time to wash long hair as water pressure is low.Cushions on wood chairs would have provided more comfort. Nice to have a relaxing seating area and basics.Overall, very welcoming.
My wife used it while I had surgery at nearby VGH. When surgery was canceled at the last minute we stayed and enjoyed the many beautiful sights around the area.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay....location was great.....our family lives 4 blocks away....so was perfect for us. The condo is well equipped with everything we needed and the host was responsive when we contacted him. We definitely would stay here again. Kindest regards...Lauretta and Richard
This is the perfect location for visiting Vancouver. Very easy access from the airport and to Granville Island, Kits Beach and the sea wall, as well as many restaurants and cafes. There are city bikes just around the corner and public transport within a very short distance. Loved the access across the bridge to Charleston Park! Sabias is an excellent host, very welcoming and provided great instructions for everything. Would recommend and stay again!
The host Sabe was clear in his communications and accommodated out request for a late checkin to some extent. The property was clean, well stocked and had a secure car park. Would stay again if in that area.
Extremely well equipped and cozy unit, very conveniently located to explore beautiful Vancouver. Host is very helpful and responsive. The only downside for us was the noise of the busy street even though it doesnât prevent you from sleeping
This condo was exactly as described. It was clean and tidy. Had all the amenities we needed. Was conveniently located. We enjoyed our stay.
We stayed in the middle of July, so it was hot without central AC, but we knew it wasnât an air-conditioned unit. There was a portable unit in the bedroom which made sleeping in there just fine. The bedroom is also in the back of the condo away from the busy street, so no noise issues in there, and it had blackout curtains to cut down on the all-night lights that are on in the building hall. The mattress was comfortable too.
That being said, if you plan to use the pull-out couch for sleeping, which we did, itâs a bit trickier. The noise from the road is as-described: Noisy. As stated in the listing, there is no ac unit, or place to put one in the front room, the lights from the street and condo are on all night, and the sleeper sofa sleeps like a sleeper sofa, itâs rough. There is a screened slider to a balcony that can be opened, but it lets in a lot of street noise and exhaust, so itâs not a great way to cool the place down.
Overall, our stay was great and we would stay here again. The host was extremely responsive, we had all we needed including bedding, towels, soap, complimentary coffee and kitchen gadgets. Parking was also fantastic. There was a convenience store 2 blocks away and a coffee shop around the corner. We have a 5 year old who loved it and thought it was the best place ever!
We enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We appreciated that the host included many essentials such as coffee, shampoo, toothpaste etc. The location was very convenient for walking or taking an Uber to restaurants, shopping, parks etc.
Host was accommodating and responsible, which was appreciated. Property is conveniently located close to many bus routes and the SkyTrain Canada Line, as well as to grocery stores. Pleasant walking along False Creek, and also along W 7th Avenue. Very much enjoyed our stay!
The property is great with a location just across a pedestrian bridge to the sea wall and a Timmies down the street. Our travel plans changed several times and the host accommodated them all, even when he was not required to. Would definitely stay again.
Wonderful flat right across the street from Charleson Park. Absolutely amazing location. Walk a half a block to Laurel Street, walk over the Laurel Street Land Bridge and you're in the Park. Walk down to False Creek and from there you're about a 15 minute stroll along the water to Granville Island. So cool. Flat is cozy, has everything you need and has a very comfortable bed.
The other thing we loved... we flew in from Colorado landed at YVR and was able to take the Canada Line Skytrain to the Olympic Village stop (maybe 30 minutes or so). From there just a 10 minute stroll to the flat. Didn't need to rent a car.
Sabe our host was incredibly responsive VRBO email if we had a question.
Bottom line... great place to stay near Granville Island and easy to navigate around the city. Definitely recommend it.
This is a gem in an amazing location! We were able to walk to stunning views and food every day! Very close access to ferries and Granary Island. Secure parking. Next to an amazing cigar store! Itâs on a busy street but was very quiet inside. Highly recommend!
