I had a gracious and relaxing 7 nights in a beautifully appointed room with a breath-taking view of the North Shore Mountains.

Pros: Quiet
Cons: No free Internet
I chose the Hyatt for the location - the centre of everything for me in Vancouver - public transit, shopping, walking, dining, people watching. It was perfect - the room decor is modern, sleek and just to my taste. All of the little details (ability to use my iPod in the clock radio - outstanding) made me feel soooooo comfortable. My only complaint is the cost of WiFi in the room .... please make it free.

Great place to relax.

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency after a five-day bus tour of the Canadian Rockies. It was wonderful to have a large spacious room with great multi setting shower head, great view if the city with a peek view of the waterway down the street , and the beds were heavenly comfortable! The best ending to a trip.

perfectyly fine

The room was clean, spare, efficient. But the hotel lacks personality. Nothing special--like free water (it's $3CA a bottle.) It's an enormous place--very business-like. also very centrally located to two main transit lines and walking distance to all Vancouver main downtown attractions--I got along fine without a car for three days. They also were efficient at booking a getaway to Victoria for a day. One small ding--long waits at the front desk, both at check-in and check out only single person running the desk which made for a 20 minute wait. the restaurant was typical of a big hotel--the image is hip but without much soul. nothing wrong with this place--it ticks all the boxes, good location, clean, and pleasant.

Had a junior suite reservation, but when we got there they had none available so they upgraded us in executive suite which was nice

Modern high rise, centrally located

This was a great hotel with many amenities. We loved the central location, the modernist style, and the views from the upper floor rooms. Staff was terrific and fun. Television was odd to us in that it did not seem to have a guide system for seeing what is coming up on each channel. That was the ONE thing that was not great, everything else met our high expectations. Bravo.

Great Hotel in Downtown Vancouver

This hotel is well located in downtown Vancouver just a couple of blocks away from the Convention Center and Robson St. (Shopping/Restaurants). We were very pleased with the hotel in general and highly recommend it. The staff was very friendly and the food was really good.
