Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Good size pool as well and decent rooms. Cons: Limited parking (you should expect that travelling to banff anyway), and probably the smallest and least usable gym I've seen at any hotels (to the point that I didnt even bother using it).

Pre-check in was a nightmare. I completed the check in ….then was directed to download an app … then the app didn’t worked to let me into the parkade … then it didn’t work to let me into my room. Room was decent and a nice view but construction was awfully loud. There’s barely any signage so good luck finding the elevator / lobby / etc. staff are nice and friendly. Restaurant was amazing. Pool is nice.

The rooms were much larger than we expected. Loved the little area to keep snacks and drinks that was close to the bathroom instead of in the main room. The pool and hot tub were nice but very crowded and it wasn't very quiet during quiet hours. Really enjoyed having the communication through text as opposed to running down to the front desk. Everything was very clean. Would stay again.

The location was perfect, steps away from Banff street. Staff were really friendly. The room was clean, though not completely - some coffee stains from previous customers on tables. The pool and jacuzzi were a bit smaller than pictures would suggest and very crowded, we tried different days and hours, and always many rather loud small children splashing around. Not very relaxing.

The vibe of the room and the hotel was very nice and I can see the appeal, but most of the hotel was under construction so it looked unfinished but still very cool. Really enjoyed the location of this hotel as you can just walk everywhere to in Banff that you'd like to go. Also liked that they have an option to check in early which makes the arrival process so much easier and to check out you just send them a message which is really convenient as well. Two things we didn't appreciate was that they ran out of underground parking that we had paid for earlier to get a spot (they refunded us for it thankfully), so we had to drive around Banff for 20 minutes just to find parking for our hotel (it was insane). But the staff was apologetic and showed us places we could park for free if there was space. The second was that they have their pool hours displayed as regular hours till 9 and then from 9 to 11 was supposedly "quiet time" but we just sat in the hot tub being splashed by children (who's parents didn't care), over and over at 10pm which was really a let down after hiking all day. For the price you can probably find something better but it was good for one nights stay.

Staff was friendly and the hotel is clean. There were multiple calls before our arrival date to see if we had any special requests. I did pre-registration the morning of our arrival and indicated we wanted underground parking. It was quite a surprise to show up after over 4 hours of diving and past 9 pm for front desk staff to tell me they didn’t believe there was any parking left on the property. Luckily, I insisted they look in the parkade. Luckily, someone was pulling out and we took the spot. Both Expedia and the BPL website state that their standard rooms have queen sized beds. In our case, this wasn’t the case. Our room had 2 twins, which was not comfortable for 2 adults and 2 teen boys. Bed size is a major factor when I choose where to book and the misinformation should be looked into further by Expedia.
