The staff were very friendly even got us into our room early. Enjoyed the lobby and fireplace, and the barista at the cafe made a great cappuccino. The room was on the small side, but it was all we needed. The bed was very comfortable.

NO MORNING COFFEE…the shop was supposed to be open at 7:00 and it did not open until after 8:00, with no possibility of on-site coffee…woman at front desk just shrugged and said she has nothing to do with coffee…staff extremely unhelpful…rooms a bit “beat up”…could use a coat of paint…one elevator was out of use in the morning and multiple housekeeping staff with giant carts were occupying the only working elevator going up and down - a problem if the room is on the 6th floor…have stayed at hip, value hotels for the same price that were infinitely better

The bathrooms are communal, so expect to have some adventure when washing hands, brushing teeth, and taking showers. That being said, this is a fun historic hotel with a significant number of International guests. Excellent stay.
