Now I have been there 39 weeks since 1998, there is a lot of repairs needed, especially in some ceiling areas that water leaks have damaged. My room was fine air conditioning ok. We live the people and they know us. Now I have noticed repairs made, new roof over sections with solar panels. I noticed painting done. Last year the improved the breeze by completely redoing it, and then started on outside plastering and painting to the Shang gra la restaurant. But for some people repairs aren’t fast enough, and I keep defending them. Hopefully they have a excellerated plan to finish some of the repairs. There are still people coming having a good time and saying they will be back, to where on the other hand some will not return.

Everything was great but the leak through out the entire resort, seemed like pipes busted and buckets everywhere. Pool is better not too cloudy this time around.

This will be the most affordable all inclusive adult only resort if you’re looking for budget friendly. The staff was AMAZING. so welcoming. Smiles all day. Pool was good size and we always had chairs available. They bring you drinks or you can go to the bars. Beach was right next to the pool. I will say, they don’t have a wide option of restaurants. The buffet was very small but it gave what it needed. We recommend Pier 12 especially if you like seafood. The pool bar is open until 1am, and the bartenders are working overtime to make it really fun and a party environment. Sixties bar is very chill, they do karaoke or trivia sometimes. We would walk in there when we were tired or just wanted a more chill environment. Room was great, clean, 24hr room service. Close to town too! I didn’t love that they had towels all over the floors to sustain the water leaks on the roof. It’s not a luxury hotel. It is outdated. But we would def go back if we’re on a budget and want all inclusive adult only!

The resorts needs to work on it cleanliness and maintenance. Roof leaks, walls needing to be cleaned or painted. Poolside bar looks dated - needs an upgrade. Lots of furniture and old stuff stacked in corners. Just an eyesore.
