I recently stayed at the Grand Oasis in Cancun, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff was unhelpful, disorganized, and at times outright rude. Basic requests were either ignored or met with attitude, and it often felt like guests were more of an inconvenience than a priority.
The condition of the rooms was equally disappointing. Our room was poorly maintained, with outdated furniture, noticeable wear and tear, and cleanliness that fell far below expectations. There were issues with basic amenities, and it was clear that proper upkeep is not a priority at this property. For a destination like Cancun, where there are so many excellent resorts available, this level of neglect is unacceptable.
Overall, I would not recommend the Grand Oasis to anyone. Between the poor service and subpar room conditions, it simply does not deliver the experience it promises. I will definitely not be returning, and I strongly encourage others to consider alternative hotels in Cancun.
