Book Cheap Hotels in Saskatoon

"It's been a few years since we stayed here. Previous stays we were more than satisfied. Since a conference we attended was held there we felt ok with staying there once again. However the stay was, MAYBY just ok. Not sure if we would go back. It was obvious to us that the hotel is showing its age. In much need of some simple maintenance. Such as toilet seat that needs replacing. Ice bucket with no lid. Even after mentioning that it was missing and it would be replaced, it wasn't. Lack of proper bath towels and wash cloths. There was no Bath Mat. Had to use a towel, after finding room cleaner that had some. A lack of electrical plugs ( and now with new technology more plugs and usb ports, we had to have items plugged in at various locations that were not handy locations) and when looking behind bed for one, was horrified at how dirty the wall and floor was. Also from previous visits was looking forward to a hot tub relax before going to bed, but it was not operational as it's boarded over. Why I didn't even bother asking as I was miffed at that point already and probably wouldn't have said anything nice. So all in all, We won't be staying there again anytime soon unless we hear there are a doing a renovation "

"I personally enjoy staying at this hotel, and often recommend it. The staff have been friendly and helpful any time I've stayed. The elevators are quick and always in order. The rooms feel clean and fresh. I would say the rooms could potentially be incrementally cleaner, however I do residential cleaning for a living and tend to notice things most people might not (dust on an obscure surface or streaks on a mirror for example) and being aware they have a lot of rooms to clean, I do not expect them to be pristine by any means. They are plenty clean and comfortable. There was a minor issue with the handheld shower in the room I was in where it had come unscrewed and sprayed water everywhere when I turned it on, but otherwise the bathroom was a good size, everything was in working order. Showers have good pressure and I appreciate the options of overhead or handheld shower heads. The bed is comfortable. I noticed when adjusting a corner of the sheet that there is a zippered mattress protector encasing the mattress, with another removable/washable one on top of that. Very nice touch. The pillows were great, they provide both soft and firm options. Plenty of parking around the property, although the parking out front can be limited at times. There is a very large parking area at the back. I find the location to be quite good, it is quiet and slightly out of the way with tons of shopping and dining options within a short driving distance. "Our room was not clean. There was random hairs in the one bed, and bath tub. A used towel that had been put back. The hallways were dirty and confusing and it was hard to find your way around. I don’t think I’ll stay there again. No elevator and didn’t feel clean."

"Breakfast was okay. A bummer there were no shades for the windows. So trying to sleep in was a total bummer."

"Our breakfast was delicious, but just cause we booked through Expedia or Hotels.com we weren’t entitled to a breakfast voucher. I think it should be a for anybody that stays there something to think about."
