"I was absolutely amazed by the amenities at the Red Lion Inn! The full kitchen and bath made our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient, just like having our own little home base. The location is perfect—right on the Galloping Goose Trail, so we could step out and enjoy beautiful walks whenever we wanted. The cleanliness throughout the property was spotless and impressive. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the staff. Their helpfulness and kindness were next-level. When my wife had a headache, I asked the front desk for some Advil, and they were so kind and helpful—they gave me some right away with a warm smile. The staff are absolutely phenomenal! This place is truly the gem of Victoria. We loved every minute and will definitely be back!"

"Room was clean but for the almost $400/night it was definitely underwhelming, VERY old and the amenities in the rooms were not worth $400. We arrived to almost deafening music from the lounge/bar, so loud you could barely hear the clerk!!! This continued until late into the evening so be aware if you’re looking for peace and quiet or on a business trip and need to work in the morning. Best and only thing that can be said is the room was clean."

"The property is old and needs some renovation, many things were broken or cluse to broken in the room. Some of the front reception were not helpful and useless. The cleaners did a good job cleaning the room every day and the location of the property is prime as it’s close to all the downtown attractions."

"I booked a king room for more money but moved to a queen room when it was on the second floor with a view of the roof with no other compensation. There was no coffee one morning, my wake up call didn’t happen the next morning and 2 rude people with luggage and a big dog barged into the small elevator they couldn’t fit in that I left to make room for them only to have the old lady be rude in return."

"This was a fabulous place to stay, Price is in Victoria for astounding so, although this was expensive, it was reasonable in comparison to other hotels. It is an older place and there is no air-conditioning and the elevator is, but these are really the only downfalls. The staff was absolutely amazing, helpful and kind. The location was perfect for downtown sightseeing. I would definitely recommend this to others."
