Do not book

There is no elevator. Room stinks and bathroom stinks even worse. Furniture are old, walls need to be painted. The music from the bar next door, kept me awake all night. As a whole, my experience was very unpleasant. For what is offered, the price is not good either.

Downtown hotel

Pros: Only thing I liked is that one of the male receptionists let me leave my luggage overnight after spending a day in Isla mujeres.
Cons: Most.
Location: Parque de las palapas is close and mercado 28. Both amazing.
Not what I expected. The lady in reception was kind of rude. The room was not nice compared to others I stayed in. I had a view to a boiler/fan and a supposedly back yard. Extremely disappointing.

Pros: the kindness of the staff, everybody was nice and very friendly
Cons: it´s an older building, but they wan´t to make your stay very nice

Modest, cute, old but clean hotel

Hotel in midle of city of Cancun walking distance to nice restaurant, farmacies, super and super nice market. If you wanted a taste and be closed the real mexican culture and people, this is your hotel. I saw mostly mexican staying at hotel. Do not expect to eat anything good inside hotel, even breadfast is basic. Staff is very helpfull. You will find a better room rate if you call directly the hotel. The deal al Travelocity was not good. In summary. I like the hotel.

Don't stay at this hotel!

Pros: Nothihng
The music from disco next door shakes the whole building, and it doesn't close until 6am. If you want sleep, do not stay at this hotel.
