"We stayed at Bahia Principe Grand Coba and honestly had mixed feelings about the experience. Starting with the positives — the rooms were cleaned very well. Everything was always neat and tidy, no complaints there. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which definitely made the stay more pleasant. A special highlight is the kids club — it’s truly the best part of the resort. The activities were engaging, and it made a big difference when traveling with children. However, there were also some significant downsides. The biggest issue was the constant feeling of restrictions. The bracelet system makes you feel like you’re in a lower-tier category, with limited access to certain areas. This really affects the overall experience. The food was another disappointment. It wasn’t bad, but very repetitive. After a few days, it gets quite boring, and there’s nothing that really stands out. The resort is large, which is nice in theory, but in practice it can feel inconvenient, with many things located far from each other. Overall, it’s an okay option for a basic family vacation, but if you’re looking for more freedom, better food variety, and a more elevated experience, you may want to consider other resorts."

"The rooms were clean. Some staff was friendly and others were rude. The resort has plenty of room and lots of things to do. A couple of things that need improvement were being able to make reservations at the restaurants. We could not get into one the whole time we were here. We ate at the buffet. And the pools need to be open later than 6 pm. I would definitely return as for the most part it was a great trip"

"My family just returned from a 5 day stay at this hotel and we could not have been happier- the property is modern and is beautifully decorated as well as very clean in all areas. The staff is lovely and highly attentive to its guests, making us feel pampered and cared for. The concierge staff (special thanks to Juan) went out of their way to get us the best dinner times and restaurants as the restaurants were quite crowded due to spring break. The pools are massive and never felt crowded, the food was delicious in the buffets and specialty restaurants and the room was cleaned well each day. We loved seeing the adorable monkeys and other animals too! Thank you for a wonderful vacation! "

"Overall, the hotel grounds and nice and maintained. I can say the rooms were nice and spacious as well. The only problem is outside noise in the apartment. My 1 bedroom was outside of the pool with kids constantly screaming. I was able to tune it out but the bedroom located in the back faced the road and you can clearly hear every car driving by. Thankful the road is clamber at night. On my second day there was a high pitched loud buzzing sound coming from the courtyard. I couldn’t tune this sound out and it was extremely irritating. I walked around to see where it was coming from and finally asked the front desk if I could change rooms. I also noticed my balcony door didn’t close all the way. The front desk said we don’t have any other one bedrooms available and said nobody ever complained about this noise. I offered to take a downgrade or even pay for an upgrade to no avail. I convinced them to come hear the sound and they finally agreed and learned the sound was coming from a motor outside of my room. They shut off the motor and all was well and they sent someone to fix the door. The motor was back on my last day but I just dealt with it. The front desk could have handled the situation better and offered some accommodation rather than dismissing my claims. Overall it’s a nice place but not relaxing and staff could have been better. I’d think twice before booking this place or at least book a room on the higher floor to avoid the noise. "

No tienen un sistema o plataforma automatizado, todo lo hacen manual. La hostes es la que te lleva a la mesa y deja desatendida la recepción de los restaurantes. Pésima coordinación en restaurantes. La comida estuvo bien, pero las porciones son muy pequeñas, parece que es un menú de degustación. No regresaría. "
