I stayed here for winter break and I was very disappointed with the room. I paid a lot for this trip and the room was below standard. The view was of a roof and a jungle gym. The room I stayed in, 2201, was also dated and in need of repair. If you are going to charge 500 or more for a night I should have a view of the ocean

I would HIGHLY recommend staying at the Hyatt Ziva/Zilara. My Fiancé and I just went on a 5 day engagement celebration to Jamaica and stayed at this resort. First off, the Hotel entertainment & customer service was impeccable from the daily poolside dancing/challenges, to nightly shows, to the entire hotel staff being extremely helpful with anything we needed. (Constant service w/ drinks & food pool/beachside so you don’t have to leave your chair!) Secondly, My fiancé and I also purchased our stay with Butler service, if you have the ability to do the same we STRONGLY suggest doing so. We were blessed to have Ramona, Carliesha and Andre. They would text us every morning with daily Hotel events/activities, set dinning reservations for us and bring us a cooler full of refreshments by the pool. They were extremely nice and went above & beyond to make sure we had a Jamazing time. Thirdly, we also really enjoyed Shakers bar. Made great friends with Kevin, Demoy, and Sherean. recommend going up to them if you want great drinks and learning about awesome excursions to do outside Hotel! Their service was outstanding. Of course, all the other bartenders were good but they really stood out to us! 10/10.

This property looks like it was once a great hotel. Some of the staff was rude. They acted as if we were inconvenience to them. While there were others who were extremely kind. The room was nice. Except for the following, -We requested an oceanfront. We received an oceanfront but it was partially blocked by trees. -Small but annoying. The TV guide was not accurate. Though not a big deal, a hotel like the Hyatt should have there Directv on point. None of the shows were accurate. -The person who answered the phone for room service was extremely unprofessional. Guest should not be made to feel like they are bothering you. -Another small but annoying thing. The door to the shower did not keep the water inside the shower. So you had to clean the floor after bathing. -Another small but annoying thing. After taking a bath, it is extremely difficult to remove the plug that clogs the drain. I shouldn't have to get out the tub to find something to lift the plug. My point. There was no major thing wrong with the room, but these small things are things that can be easily addressed if they considered the guest.

5 stars all around! Beautiful pools and beaches! Very clean and well kept property. The food at all of the restaurants was absolutely delicious! The bars were pretty great. Awesome nightly entertainment and plenty of activities. I’m actually incredibly impressed with how well organized and well planned the resort is. The resort really thinks of everything to make sure the travelers are well organized and taken care. They are able to arrange everything from transportation, excursions, reservations, Covid testing, etc. Covid testing was a smooth process, we were in and out in 13 minutes. The staff is so, so authentically kind and hard-working. We truly have no complaints other than I wish there was more house wine options. The music by the pool can be a little loud at times but the beach is very quiet and peaceful. This was my first time to the resort and it was my husband’s second time. We will deff be coming back soon!! We love you guys!!!
