Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean. The building is located in a great area in downtown Ottawa. The bar/restaurant closing early, so be prepared to have food or grab something before arriving if you check in late. I had to do UberEat. Will be nice if breakfast had more choices of fruits, and more quality choices of food. Overall i recommend this hotel.

There were lots of options to eat at breakfast so it’s definitely worth getting it included in your stay. Room was clean and quiet, staff were very helpful but the reception desk was always busy. The reception desk is in a very awkward area in the lobby so it was hard checking in when the line-up was long and there was nowhere to stand in a line so someone actually pushed in front of us while we were waiting and never got made to go to the back of the line!

Breakfast was disappointing. Coffee was self-serve which was ok once you figured that out BUT it was weak AND bitter and mugs small that were meant for saucers with no saucers. Cream in those little capsules that spilled everywhere - lots was needed to dilute the bitter coffee. Scrambled eggs were unappetizing, and sausage was a big slice of wiener. Fruit limited to whole apple orange or banana. Long lines for making toast or waffles - especially on thanksgiving Monday - staff were attentive and did their best.

Amazing walkable location. Pool, gym, free breakfast were great. Parking garage entrance is really low 5’9” so be careful renting a larger vehicle as it might not fit.

What an amazing hotel. Super clean, lots of amenities, great restaurant and bar, close to everything and wonderful staff. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking to spend time in our nation’s capital. We’ll be back!

For context, I travel for business and pleasure monthly and frequently stay at Hilton hotels. This was a personal trip for 4 nights to visit family and I had my daughter with me. What I liked about the hotel is the large room, soundproofing seemed good, full kitchen (although we did not really use it this trip), exercise facility (large and lots of equipment for strength and cardio), and proximity to attractions and public transport options. The restaurant was pretty good overall, fast, and convenient. Some issues which made me score lower: there was hair in the shower when we arrived, the tissue box was empty and never refilled, and the swimming pool facilities (the pool itself was a good temperature and just long enough to do some reasonable laps - but there were no change rooms (very odd) and no hot tub).
