My parents and I love Antera, this was our third visit! It’s walking distance to everything, including the ADO bus station, so it’s easy to go anywhere. The staff in the hotel and restaurant next door (Yum Yum) are always lovely!! Thank you for another great visit 😊

The Antera is a hidden gem in bustling Centro PDC. The staff is amazing - friendly, prompt, and courteous. The spacious room was cleaned daily and fresh bathrobes were provided by the hotel.There is a stylish tropical courtyard that brings nature inside and beautiful rooftop pool and bar area. The included breakfast at YUM YUM restaurant at the corner was filling and fresh daily. Free underground parking is included AND most sights (as well as the beach) are in short walking distance. The only downside - there is a building being constructed across the street that block some of rooftop view and music can be loud when you're ready to sleep (becomes background noise after a couple of nights) Highly recommend for an amenity filled stay at a reasonable price.

Nice roof top area and very friendly staff. Saturday night was very noisy, but other nights were less so, but street noise was heard throughout the stay. Location was excellent to have a less touristy experience but be by beach.

The best thing about this hotel is own centrical it is to eveything in playa del Carmen. You have 5th ave, the ferry, cancun is like a 30 min drive, its location was definitely worth it for us

Pro's - This hotel is so beautiful. The grounds is well kept with a bohemian theme. They have a beautiful bar. 2 really nice relaxing rooftop pools. No rooftop bar but the incredible bartender Pavel will bring your drinks there. We stayed in the 2broom jacuzzi suite that we we're upgraded to for being Platinum members with Expedia and it was absolutely wonderful. The room was so clean and spacious with a huge floor to ceiling windows that open. All the staff were so kind. It's located on 10th ave, one block from the busy 5th ave, and 2 blocks from the beach. Breakfast was included in our rate. Breakfast is located at the Yum Yum restaurant on the corner and it was very good, cooked to order. This was a very affordable option and way more personable than the large all-inclusive hotels. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. Slight Cons - They are building a huge complex across the street. It takes away from the view on one the pools a bit but still has a view. Construction was during the day. 10th ave is always noisy so the construction noise didn't bother us, we we're hardly in the room. There is also a club that plays loud music into the early hours. If you're one that likes to sleep in complete silence, this won't be the place for you. I put on my headphones, white noise, and/or fan app and I was good. Overall, this is a very clean. beautiful, affordable boutique hotel with great service that's one block from the main action. You won't be disappointed.

I am taking time out of my day to for warn future travellers. Avoid this hotel. There is a nightclub on the corner with an outside bar. It starts up at around 7 or 8 PM and goes till 4:30 AM. Earplugs will not help you. The yard we booked we could not use the hot tub. If you even filled it with 1 inch of water the rest of the water to the whole unit was shut off. The yard was dusty from concrete flying everywhere. Absolutely zero privacy with the workmen looking right across the street at you and it was very dangerous for somebody older or children to go up and down the stairs to get to the yard as there was no railing to hold onto. The bathrooms stunk very badly and the bathroom doors had to be shut all the time with the fans running. It smelt like rotten eggs. you only received one key to the room as housekeeping needed to keep the other key so they could clean the unit. We ended up going without cleaning and holding onto the second key as when you have more than one traveller it’s nice for both to have a key. The only good thing really was the kitchen. The fridge was a full size. The oven didn’t work too well but it did work. There are absolutely no cleaning supplies so make sure to bring clean supplies if you stay here like dish soap, cleaners, etc. There is a Walmart about a seven minute walk away with two other stores directly behind it so it’s convenient for grocery shopping. Check out the third store behind Walmart. The selection is better.
