The room 1911 was located literally below the gym, we couldnt sleep because of the noise of the walkmachines of gym very late at night, then we were woken up vary early by the noises (4am).

The check in was horrible. We arrived early for an early check in. Our rooms weren’t available but that was fine we were told our rooms needed to be inspected first. An hour later we were still waiting for our rooms to be inspected. Our rooms were not available to us until 3:20. We sat in the lobby and watched several people getting there key cards but they kept telling us our rooms hadn’t been inspected.

The staff was very friendly. We were able to leave our luggage before check in and after checkout. Complimentary beverages and refills were provided. I booked through third party and no issues with reservation. We had the family suite which included 2 full beds, 1 king, 2 bathrooms. It was very clean and perfect size for 4 adults.

Tried checking in early in advance request was denied, asked if early check in was available in person. Our flight arrived at 7am and we got to the hotel 8:30am. We were told no once again, we went to the hotel’s restaurant to eat breakfast, we used the breakfast vouchers we paid extra for. We got sat right away, but the server took around 20 minutes to come take our order. I got an orange juice, when he brought it the cup had a lipstick stain on it I sent it right back. After we got our meal the server never came back to check how we were, just completely forgot or ignored us I don’t know. So we just left after we were done went to walk around for a while. Came back at around 2pm sat in the lobby as our room still was not ready. As we were waiting in the lobby some guests that had just arrived, were getting their rooms! Never have I ever been treated so terribly while visiting NYC. Don’t even get me started with house keeping, the sheets were never changed they would only make the bed, they only came about 3 times during our stay and sometimes would come at late as 6pm ! Never staying here again and if you want a seamless stress free stay in New York I suggest that you don’t either!

One of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed in! The lobby smelled amazing, the staff were friendly and inviting, and we got a complimentary champagne drink once checked in. The room was very clean and had a lot of useful amenities like a mini fridge with waters and bubbly fruit beverages included. My favorite though was the nespresso machine! Perfect for the mornings and they have cute little coffee and espresso mugs you can purchase if you’d like. They also provide a robe and cozy slippers. The view was stunning and the blackout curtains are perfect for the mornings you want to sleep in. The Wilson is the restaurant attached to the hotel and is highly recommend trying them. I would also absolutely recommend this hotel and stay here again!
