WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels are all inc. in rent.. Braeside is a fine base for a Northumberland getaway. Note: Step up to dining area. Note: Limited headspace on first-floor. Note: Staircase is quite tight, unsuitable for those with mobility issues. Note: Second dog acceptable with owners’ consent.

Wooler is a delightful, historic market town on the banks of the River Till, one of the tributaries of the Tweed, nestling in the foothills of the Cheviots which form part of the Pennine Way. Known locally as 'The Gateway to The Cheviots', Wooler has a selection of hotels and eating places and offers a magnificent location for exploring the whole of Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Situated on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, Wooler is just a short drive away from the historic town of Alnwick with its famous Castle and Gardens, and the well preserved Garrison town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Chillingham Castle with its ancient herd of wild white cattle and Coldstream, just over the Scottish border, are also a short drive away.
