"The room was very uncomfortable, the bedding was not clean, and I slept until I had red rashes on my neck and body. The towel cannot be cleaned thoroughly, and hair is still hooked on it. The room service knocked on the door at 10:30 in the morning and came in, disturbing our rest. That's terrifying. "

"Just a short walk from the cruise ship terminal. The hotel entrance is only on Hastings street. Our room was a waterfront view and it was outstanding. We arrived early as we disembarked by 9:30, rounds me are not available until 3:00 pm. The concierge was a great help and held our baggage until our room was made ready. The hotel later called us to check in at 12:30. Awesome!"

"I came for the Vancouver Sun Run and the location could not be more perfect. I had a single room that was amazingly spacious, and included a large basin and mirror. There was 1 shower/toilet, and 1 toilet on the floor and I never waited to use these during my 3 night stay. Staff were very friendly and everything was extremely clean. I loved my stay and would highly recommend. "

"We scored a deal of 245 a night which in the area is an absolute bargain. If I was to pay normal rates closing in on 500 a night I’d shop around. Definitely designed and built in the 70s without much renovation since but still has a charm to it. The staff are exceptional as are the gardens and local. It really is a quirky yet very cool hotel in a spectacular location. "
