The hotel is good-looking and pleasant. It has many cute touches (e.g. all the room numbers are even!). The block is really seedy and the area is very busy but we keep going there because of the convenience of the close proximity to Penn Station. The hotel has all the amenities one would need but don't expect anything more. There's only a primitive closet in the room and no bathrobes or real glasses in the bathroom. We had a room overlooking the street and, surprisingly, the noise was minimal.

We had a great stay! Close to Madison Square Garden. Probably 15 min walk to Time Square. You see everything on the way there. City is busy…we went for a Kentucky basketball game. Go CATS! Will definitely go back if I’m in town ever again.

1) The only thing I would say is that shower floor level is such that water does not drain out into the hole. In our room, it seemed that water was gathering on the shower floor. 2) Could do with more wardrobe space. 3) Chris and Sheila at reception need special mention. They were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable . Thank you!
