Find a cheap Hotel in Playacar

"Clean room was pretty good! Staff were awesome, very friendly. Buffet was delicious and full of options. Pool nice and clean. Something negative about the hotel was that it didn’t have elevators. "

"May elevators didn’t work , some of them work but the bottom of the 2nd floor didn’t work so I couldn’t take the elevator. The property is big and it’s a lot of walking , something’s the trolly is full so you still have to walk . The beach have a lot of seaweed , the first day the seaweed was all over the water , then the next day was in the sand and bugs were flying around . It’s very sad"

"I just spent April 3-9 at Hotel Riu Palace with my 16 y.o. daughter. The hotel is on a beautiful beach, with wonderful sand. The staff did a great job of clearing seaweed. The staff was 90% welcoming, pleasant, and hard working. The room was dated but, totally fine. The mattresses are very firm, not comfortable for me so I requested a soft "topper" which was provided immediately. Now for the HUGE NEGATIVE: for the last 1.5 days of our trip, we stayed in our room because I was sick with traveler diarrhea. It was (and is) horrible. I am a health care worker in the US so I was very comfortable ordering an antibiotic at a local pharmacy. But, $50 of medication and lost use of the resort is a set back when you only have 6 days. My symptoms started on the third day of our trip. We had ONLY eaten at the Riu Palace so I'm 100% comfortable in saying it was transferred via food I ate there. We did not eat at any of the restaurants, only the Buffet at breakfast and dinner, and the only lunch option which is Guacamole. This is our 10th time to a RIU resort, and I've never experienced this before so it was disappointing. I always eat A LOT of fresh fruit so this very well may have been the culprit. I also ate A LOT of the pico de gallo that was randomly put out in different spots during different meals for me to hunt down. I'm on day 2 of 3 of antibiotics and my symptoms are improving. It was so awful, I cannot say I would stay at a RIU again after this vacation havoc. "

"The food was amazing each and every day! The staff are nice and attentive! The cocktails are fun and refreshing! We had the chance to attend the white party which was premium, fun and exciting! Entertainment at night s great and fun! Amenities are fantastic. There were a couple of issues with the room but were minor, front desk apologized by dropping a bottle of prosecco in the room. We celebrated a birthday during our stay, staff also dropped a tequila bottle in the room as a gift, they also decorated the room with ballons and fun animal figures made out of towels! Negatives: 1 golf cart is not enough to run people to the beach. Overall fantastic stay! Loved my time there"

"We LOVED this resort. The rooms were a little older, but who cares?! They were clean and had everything we needed. The staff was amazing and the food was good! When you go to an all inclusive you shouldn't expect 5 star meals, but all the food we had was good! Great selections at the buffets and never lines at the restaurants. It was a great mix of families and spring breakers. We will definitely be back!"
