"Beware of this hotel. We were offered a non smoking room as if that mattered. The entire property, rooms included, reeked of cigarettes and marijuana. There were a lot of drunk older people who seemed to be on drugs all throughout the property in and outside of the hallways and doors, leaving needles, bottles, and cigarette buds all over outside. When the smell got too bad, you'd open a window up to hear people who seemed high on drugs just arguing and fighting with each other and no desk attendants or security ever stepped in. Even one time these people knocked on our door at an obscene hour of the night out of pure inebriation. There was also a layer of residue within the shower floor and walls that was genuinely terrifying and disgusting to try to step onto. Normal pots and pans did not work with the stovetop when we paid extra for a kitchen, it was specific branded ones only and we were not informed prior. The staff seemed to not care about being helpful at all. Overall this hotel seems to have paid to get into the front pages of Expedia. Nothing about what is offered, the pictures posted, or any positive reviews seem to be true. Please consider choosing a different hotel. It's also marketed as in Montreal or just a short drive away, however there will never not be traffic causing a 30-45 minute drive into downtown, old port, or any part of the city. In some cases a cheaper option is worth it, but this hotel it is truly not worth the few bucks you save AT ALL. Stay away!!"
