"Great location, easy to get everywhere. The hotel was clean, typical small New York rooms but worked for our family. Only issue was the breakfast. If you are going to still let people into the buffet breakfast after 9:30, the hotel should still restock the food. There were hundreds on people trying to get the leftover food at 9:50. Nothing left but cereal..."

"It was difficult to find the hotel. There was only a small sign on the door. Check in was easy and was greeted with a smile. When arriving in our room the overall look was pleasant. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. After looking around I didn’t feel the room was very clean. I felt like I needed shower shoes to take a shower. The real problem was that there a a fairly loud water squeaking noise that happened every 3 to 4 minutes and went on all night long. Sleeping was nearly impossible since I’m a lighter sleeper. The street noise was very loud on evening."

"The hotel and rooms are old. It's noisy outside. There were workers doing maintenance, which wasn't a great experience. Even though the guy gave us a better room, it still wasn't clean or modern enough. The New Yorker Hotel has a good reputation, and I hope they take better care of it in the future."
