"It was my first time visiting Victoria, and I stayed one night at the Strathcona Hotel. Although I arrived much earlier than expected, they kindly offered me a room upgrade and early check-in at a very reasonable price. The hotel’s location was excellent — within walking distance to the Parliament Buildings, major tourist attractions, restaurants, and cafes. Elvie and Ario, in particular, provided cheerful and friendly service."

My son and I got in late from the ferries on motorbikes and he kindly processed us through, provided all the necessary info and went above and beyond to provide a complimentary room step up.
