The Space:

Soft winter light filters through expansive windows as snow settles quietly around Alta Lake. You start the day slowly, coffee warming your hands while the mountains sit still beyond the glass. By evening, firelight flickers indoors and out, and the pace of Whistler feels calm and unhurried - a place to retreat after crisp alpine days.



The home

Set within the Residences at Lakecrest, this corner-unit townhouse offers a sense of privacy while remaining close to Whistler Village and Creekside. The main living area opens into an airy lounge framed by large windows that look toward the lake and surrounding mountains. A three-sided stone indoor fireplace anchors the space, creating a natural gathering point after winter adventures. Retractable glass doors lead to a patio where a gas fireplace, BBQ, and outdoor seating make it easy to linger outside even on cooler evenings.



Sleeping arrangements

Upstairs, the primary bedroom features a king bed, stone fireplace, TV, and a private deck overlooking Alta Lake. The ensuite bathroom includes a free-standing soaking tub, a glass-enclosed rain shower, and a double vanity.

The second bedroom also offers a king bed and walk-out deck, with an adjoining bathroom that includes a soaker tub and shower combination.

Guests can enjoy scenic walks or bike rides along the Valley Trail, which connects Lakecrest to Whistler Village, Creekside, and nearby parks. In winter, you're close to both Whistler and Blackcomb ski lifts, with easy access by car.

Unit was beautiful and well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. Parking was limited and not as described. At check-in was told garage was small and if two vehicles didn’t fit we’d have to pay for parking off site due to no on street parking in neighborhood. Most of our stay a van and car parked partially blocking access to the garage. When reported to management company they said they’d try to have it moved but nothing happened. Disappointing since they made such an issue about us having two vehicles in a two car garage.

Great location

Loved staying here. The home was beautiful and the location close to the lake and Valley Trail was perfect. The hot water tank broke during our stay and Whistler Platinum did a great job of providing us with options and getting it fixed as quickly as possible. I would definitely stay again.

Great family stay!

We stayed at Lakecrest during a spontaneous family break - everything was seamless from reservations, contact with Whistler Platinum, pre-arrival, to check in. The house itself was great for a ski-family and is well equipped throughout; plenty of space for kids and adults.
