We just stayed at Grand Oasis (pyramid bracelet) resort. I was SO skeptical about staying here with my family because of the reviews. But we had a great time! The black bracket gives you much more and it was all wonderful! The restaurants were delicious, the kids club was good and the pools were GREAT!! The only downfall were the rooms, they were a little small but other than that, it was awesome!

I’m very disappointed, specially for the food part, I’m vegetarian and they didn’t have many things at the menu and some restaurants didn’t have anything at all. (I know I should have checked the food options, but I’ve been to Cancun 4 times already and never had this problem before) don’t go during spring break, it’s awful and very noise, they do not control their teenagers costumers at all, and the Italian restaurants had the most disgusting food, (olive garde is a five stars next to it) we let them know but again our waiter I guess he was aware of that and apologized to us but it was out of his hands, also restaurants and buffets in general started to close and hour early and by they time the food didn’t even had the name tags next to them and if you just wanted to eat some dessert or fruits and you would go 30 minutes before closing, they wouldn’t let you sit, the bars menu also was limited or perhaps the knowledge of the bartenders still don’t know, the only things that I loved about the experience was the beach(the most turquoise waters I have ever seen) (and my concierge, she tried her best to fix everything but most of the things were out of her hands) by the way if you are not a member of the hotel, get the black bracelet, (thanks god I did) because if you get a color below the black you are gonna have an extremely limited, and if you get a smelling room ( because they are renovation) don’t stay talk to their customer service

The hotel was old and it was under construction. The first room we got assigned was clean but we couldn’t stay cause of the smell, since they were painting the rooms on the floor on top of our room and all the smell from the paint was getting into our room. Besides that we had to stay in the room for one night cause after talking to our concierge about the problem she didn’t do anything, after telling os that she will take care of the problem. Then we had to go ourselves to the lobby and solve the problem. The food in the buffet was always the same and 40 minutes before the hours all the employees will start putting the staff away and if you will try to get into the buffer 10 minutes before the closing time they won’t let you go in.For the restaurant we had to make reservations online were you have to wait in a chat for your confirmation, besides most of them were not available for the day or hours we planned to go. Two of the restaurants we try to go to didn’t have reservations available during any hours for any of the days of our stay. One didn’t even have any availability until one week later after our last day staying on the hotel. The show were too early and all the restaurants, food snacks and coffee will close at 10 after that you had to get room service that will cost an extra $15 USD in case you were hungry. One of the Italian restaurants named Dos Lunas was very disgusting we were a group of 6, where each of us ordered different plates and we couldn’t eat it.

My husband and I stayed here last week for our anniversary and we had an amazing time! The food was good, the service was excellent, the room was clean, absolutely no complaints! We would definitely recommend staying here, despite seeing some bad reviews, I still opted to stay and I don’t regret it!!! There was never a time where we were not taken care of, everyone checked in on us multiple times making sure we were catered to… we even received champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to enjoy our anniversary celebrations. The gesture was sweet. The ambiance is beautiful as well! Definitely coming back!!!

Property and room was beautiful! Decent food hard to find. Don’t play at the casino, bc you won’t get paid back in US money. Pools were spectacular! No alcohol after 11 PM.

The property is large. We reserved a master suite as part of the Sian Ka'an adults only area offering a Sea View in the description. Our room faced the lagoon and not the ocean. We brought it to management's attention and they did nothing other than possibly moving us the next day. Never heard from anyone. We also could not eat at the Sian Kaan restaurants because reservactions were already booked days in advanced! Food was not great. Just different. We could not find any adults only pools other than beach club area. Will not go back.

Only thing thats is good here are restaurants We are black bands in Pyramid and did not like over all service. Not kid friendly at all, not much activities/shows to do/watch the whole time. Not recommended.
