Didn get to enter Eye resort until 4:00 PM when I also watch them give people that just arrive their key. so not inviting really not good instructions on where the locations are located the good out of it is that my son love the french fries and the peacock birds…

Upon arrival we checked in, we received our bracelets/keys, and were sent on our way. When we asked about dinner reservations or amenities the counter receptionist just pointed to a QR code as no one at the counter spoke English. When we entered our room the tablet you’re supposed to make reservations and find entertainment events was broken, we then went to get a cool drink and found the refrigerator was hot also broken and we proceeded to out money and passports into the safe that was also broken. So we went back to the reception area and let them know of these issues, she said she would send someone up in 10 minutes. After about an hour a man came and had to completely take apart the safe to fix it and then said he doesn’t do the refrigerator or the tablet. So again we have to go down and ask and she says the tablet and refrigerator will have to be fixed the following day. The refrigerator is in a cabinet and was so hot we unplugged it fearing it would catch fire. The tablet is broken to the point it rattles inside so no way to reserve dinner. The next day we come back to the room the fridge is working and there is a different tablet there but not registered to our room so again no way to reserve dinner again. When we go to reception they just put us on a list for someone else to come and help and no one does! Good thing the buffet was good because we only were able to get one dinner at a restaurant and we paid for the black wristbands which was supposed to include 13!

I recently stayed at Pyramid Oasis in Cancun to celebrate my birthday from July 16th to 25th, and it was an absolute disaster. First, we were placed in a room that reeked of paint, making it uninhabitable. When we were finally moved to another room, it was still dirty and not fit for a stay. The air conditioning barely worked, and with the intense heat, it was unbearable. We also had a terrible experience at the coffee shop, Coffee & Me. My friends and I tried to get coffee at 9:55 PM, and they refused service in Spanish. My nephew, who spoke in English, got served immediately, which was blatant discrimination against Spanish speakers and people of color. To make matters worse, the hotel’s restaurant reservation system is terrible. They have many restaurants, but you have to book way in advance, and if you miss it, they charge you a $10 fee. The food at the buffet was subpar, and even though we had the VIP black band, the service was awful and unprofessional. Plus, there were cockroaches everywhere. This hotel was a complete letdown and not worth the money. I would never go back.

Prepare yourself for Check In staff that are extremely condescending. We had VIP bracelets and preferred the regular Check In staff when our keys didn't work constantly randomly throughout out stay. Each day, I as waited for my transportation in the morning I witnessed the bell reception greet some people with great excitement and others more like a hassle unwelcomed. It was hectic. Time share presentations is to blame. The potetial buyers were first priority meanwhile other real paying guest were arriving too early from their international origins and thus causing disruption.

First off hotel charged me more to check in then what Expedia said was due at hotel , second didn’t wanna give me new room for mine upon check in ac was broken and didn’t get new room till after midnight , third you have to use app to book restaurant and doing so app would crash or would tell me everythings booked till day I was leaving smh , staff told me to eat somewhere else , food was terrible that they had sitting out by pool for bugs and birds to get at , hotel denied any refund for inconveniences throughout stay , do not stay at this hotel if you like to eat food or want pleasant stay

First the staff was rude in the check in area, then you have to download a app and reserve your spot for dinner or lunch if you do not want a buffet, but the problem is that you have to do it 24 hours in advance and when you ask for the reservation, somebody will text you back on the app telling you if it’s available or not and if it’s not available, they do not give you the option to switch the time to see what is available. You literally have to pick another time and then they’ll text you again and tell you if it’s available or not that’s ridiculous. I was there five days and literally only got a reservation twice. Otherwise we were stuck eating buffet, chicken nuggets, and pizza horrible horrible. And when I asked the front desk the first day if she could help me reserve something for the first night because we supposedly had to book 24 hours in advance she told me that she couldn’t help me because she had other clients checking in. The kid center does not take any kids under four years old just fyi And if you would like room service, they charge you 300 Mexican pesos for the delivery I know it’s not much but all inclusive should be all inclusive.

I dont normally review but I paid for the adult only package which included private pool and when i got to hotel it had been under construction. At first they made me sit and swim with kids everywhere. It wasnt until I voiced my issues i was a given acesss to another private pool. I had to speak up for 2 days to be able to get what i paid for.. i also understand that there is no colntrol over the seaweed but they never cleared the beach. Other hotels in area maintained a clear beach in order for travlers to relax on. I will say the food at the rearaurants was delicious

Great overall experience! First time taking my kids out of the country and we felt so welcomed and were treated great! The place is beautiful, food is pretty good there’s a lot of options to choose from. Family friendly but also very fun for adults. There was always something to do here! Loved it can’t wait to come back.

Spa employee made me feel very uncomfortable and judged. Luciana specifically. I intended on spending most of my time there and very quickly felt her energy was mean and not to mention I could understand her speaking about me to another colleague. Our rooms were not cleaned daily and often times our brackets did not open our doors.
