"The location is wonderful, especially if you want to explore James Bay (perhaps the funkiest part of Victoria) and the waterfront downtown (touristy but always enjoyable!). My room had a few minor flaws (creaking bathroom door, so-so-view, pre-set alarm which went off at 6AM), but everything worked and the staff were very accommodating. I really appreciated the Nespresso machine in the room. They don't have much of an area to congregate or relax, given that most of the waterfront room is taken up with large group gatherings and special events (that prime area seems deserted if there is no special event scheduled). Perhaps when their little cafe opens it will be a bit better, but I would suggest they think about a more relaxing, more welcoming, and much larger foyer area."
