Conveniently located

We were booked in a room that was a fire trap. Couldn't get in or out without force. Had to pay $21/ day for parking in a tiny spot for which most trucks take up two spots. Poor customer service at front desk. They never ask how our stay was, or recommend the facility again. The beds were terrible also, the noise from the planes kept us awake. And worse of all the stench from all the garbage trucks at the garbage company next door with what looked like a huge landfill. Would never return even it was free.

There is not enough parking and the hotel is next

Pros: leaving
Cons: it was certainly over priced
Location: not applicable.
check in was easy, it was fine for 1 night to be at the airport for an early flight. the restaurant is minimal and disappointing as is the wine selection.

Not for Tourist.

Pros: Courteous staff
Cons: Replace carpet in rooms. Improve food in restaurant, chicken 'tenders' were hard, hamburger tasted freezer burnt.
Location: Location good for airline staff needing a layover. No transportation nearby. Nothing to do nearby.
It's convenient to airport (JFK). It's okay if you have an overnight layover. If you aren't driving, it's not a good location. You can't walk to anyplace. The staff were very courteous. I was there for the US Open 2015, staff unaware of happenings in the area. The carpet in the room smelled badly, greets you at the door. The bed was too hard, pillows too soft.

Easy access to JFK to catch early morning flight.

Pros: Free shuttle to JFK and clean, reasonable size room.
Cons: Security of private information.
Received email stating I could check in early and select room of choice. After four separate attempts at different time intervals I finally gave up. When I inquired at front desk upon check-in for explanation I was given, "ah shucks" response. When departing room I found my bill was placed on outside door handle with rather than placed under door. It contained private personal information, including name and address which could have been picked up by anyone. I brought this to attention of manager who agreed it should have been placed under door.

Close to JFK

We had an early morning flight out of JFK and we had to return a rental car before the flight so we decided to stay here and not have to worry about Long Island traffic on the way to the airport. We are glad we did! We were only actually at the hotel for about 5 hours (got in late the night before) and were a bit worried when we walked into the lobby and could loudly and clearly hear a plane overhead. We hadn't needed to worry! Our room was very clean comfortable and quiet. The desk staff couldn't have been nicer (I think her name was Zandra)- very friendly and efficient and went out of her way to find my Hilton Honors number and make sure I got credit for the stay. We left too early for breakfast so I can't comment on that. We found a free parking spot on the street outside so didn't have to shell out an extra $20 to park. We easily got to the rental return in the morning- maybe 5 minute drive!

I rented a room for a visiting family member in July. Nice lobby and decent room but that's about it. Front desk staff was very accomodating but when I asked to speak to the Hotel Manager about the fact that the couple in the next room were smoking cannibas, the young lady with the tatoo on her kneck told me that that he wasn't on property. This was the excuse I received from her for the next 5 days until I got tired of asking. Not once did she ask if she could help, and then I was told that she was the AGM. Nice way to treat your ex-repeat customers!!!
