It was alright for the price we paid

The stay was ok. Too loud and noisy, being it is in the heart of downtown Toronto. Overnight, you could hear people going in and out of the elevator. I could not get a good night's sleep for the night. Should of done more research on the hotel before booking my stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were nice and friendly but did not get back to my inquiry online so I had to call the hotel to ask the question.

Great location and friendly staff

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: No free Internet
I stayed at the Bond Place hotel in mid-July. The rate and location were ideal for my trip. The rooms are perfect for a busy traveler who doesn't need to spend a lot of time in their room. The renovations are quite nice and the room was very clean. There is working air conditioning - which is important during the summer. The only issue I had is that the shower had "hard water" and it did put a bit of a damper on the experience. Thanks for the stay!

Nice, clean hotel in a great location. 2 minute walk from Dundas station. The only thing that would make it better would be free breakfast.

Downtown Toronto at a bargain

Location Location Location just a few steps outside of Younge-Dungess Square this hotel is a bargain. Although small, the rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff pleasant. The floors are marble and so clean! I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Nice hotel

Hotel room was small but nicely updated in an Art Deco/ modern design. Close to subway and walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Hotel does provide parking 1/2 block away for $25 per day with in/out privileges but we didn’t move the car. WiFi is available but there is a daily charge.

Overpriced hotel, rooms, weak custormer service

Pros: Good location to the subway and Eaton centre.
Cons: Better food in restaurant, better air conditioning units, improved customer experience with the front desk. Also, the fact that Wi-fi still cost.
Location: Shopping subway nearby
This hotel is far from a hotel that should be int the $387.00 CDN per night. It is a 3 star hotel at best with cramped rooms and moderate facilities. The hotel restaurant is very good at re-heating food and would not recommend eating there for dinner. Breakfast was better but not at the standard of a basic Denny's. Hotel rooms even so called Premier room were very small with the abnoxious air conditioner right next to the bed and was loud and cold. Staff were helpful but not very well trained in basic customer service. Very abrupt with foreign visitors especially. The redeeming quality of the hotel is the fact that it is in a good location and if reasonably priced as in the off season would be a good budget hotel. However at the current price point it is way out of the league for commanding those room rates. However, it is a supply and demand issue with Toronto and obviously the demand was high this week in Toronto.

Good location in a noisy, vibrant city

Pros: Clean, good location, food inhouse was better than expected. Employees were friendly and helpful. Inhouse travel and tour person is a great plus.
Cons: Refrigerators have no visible controls - all our food froze... Add a microwave. Provide thinner blanket options. Replace A/C filter.
Location: Yonge-Dundas Square is cool, Hop on hop off bus tour starts there, and subway access too. Eaton Center close.
Nice hotel needing a few upgrades. Clean; good staff. Good location but unfortunately near noisy daytime construction and hospitals, so sirens heard a lot. Fast elevators.

Underwhelming for the Value

Pros: The housekeep staff was extremely friendly.
Cons: Lots. See my experience.
Location: Great location actually. Right in the center of Toronto. Plenty of shopping, walking distance to public transit, restaurants, etc.
I don't consider myself a pretentious hotel visitor but expected equal amenities and conditions for the price. At a price of roughly $225 per night, the rooms were rather small, which I can deal with. I understand space in the city is limited. The floors were lamenent, not carpet, which is a pet peeve of mine when the hotel isn't by the beach. The towels were old. Towels is something no one should even notice. They should just be your standard fresh towels but they weren't. They were noticeably old and had plenty of wear. The hair dryer needed to be replaced twice, so that's THREE hair dryers we went through and even the third one seemed like it was on it's way out. The room came with two pillows with a third in the closet. Between my fiancé and I, we needed more. I called down to request, after 40 minutes and still no pillows, I called again, they arrived in 5 minutes. Not a huge deal but again, its not something I've ever had to worry about it another hotel... I normally get 4-5 pillows per king (or queen) bed. If I can nitpick... there's absolutely no curb appeal and the lobby is cold and unwelcoming.
