We just stayed at Grand Oasis (pyramid bracelet) resort. I was SO skeptical about staying here with my family because of the reviews. But we had a great time! The black bracket gives you much more and it was all wonderful! The restaurants were delicious, the kids club was good and the pools were GREAT!! The only downfall were the rooms, they were a little small but other than that, it was awesome!

Only thing thats is good here are restaurants We are black bands in Pyramid and did not like over all service. Not kid friendly at all, not much activities/shows to do/watch the whole time. Not recommended.

The grounds are beautiful and our room was nice with a great beach view. The food at the restaurants was not outstanding, but pretty good. I was a bit annoyed by the "concierge" that claimed to be there for our service but then schemed to get us to join a "pampering breakfast" that was really a sales pitch for a "vacation club". BEWARE!

This property is a dump -the management doesn’t care about any issues that come up, there is people walking around beach and pool selling vapes and drugs all day - the toilets don’t work - they do not restock mini fridge- everyone is divided up by class of wrist band - even having the black pyramid band it didn’t matter - you have to wake up at 6:30am or earlier or you will not get a pool chair - bear impossible to get clean pool towels - bugs and roaches in rooms - 30 min waits for any kind of alcoholic beverages— do not make the mistake AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!

We booked through expedia and when we got there they charged us extra 400$ because of their policy kids over the age of 12 were not free. When we book through expedia it was never explained anywhere so the $400 was a upfront surprise that we were not prepared for. People working at the front desk were so rude and did not want to help us out in anyway. We didn't have any places to go at that time so we had no other choice but to stay there. When we got to the room, it was in the worst condition, lights broken, toilet wasn't working, balcony door was in terrible shape. If we knew that we would end up like this, we would have never been in this hotel. Next thing,we bought tickets through different place then the hotel for the trip to chichen itza and the hotel people didn't help us out or answered any thing coz we did not buy tickets from the hotel. We will never stay at this hotel and warn people not to get scam with their "own policy" and get extra charge.

Loved the live animals that were on the property. The property is a little outdated. If you stay, bring a stainless-steel cup for your drinks in the pool. This will reduce your wait time if they run out of cups. Enjoyed the shows in the pyramid. Make sure you get the black wrist band if you want to have access to most restaurants. People with blue bands complained about not having access to dessert stands as well as the nicer restaurants.

Room was not ready on time. Someone was trying to upsell from the first moment. The property is dirty. The food is the same at all of the restaurants. Not enough lounge chairs. Line ups for everything. Extra charges for things.

Being a part of the Pyramid Exclusive made this trip good. With this access, we were able to get into high end bars & restaurants on the property. The food in these restaurants was excellent! The food in the regular restaurants was average. Overall, the property was okay. The resort was very large and there was a lot of activities, but the facilities need some renovations. The service in the restaurants was very slow, even when it was not busy. We enjoyed our experience, but would seek other resorts for our next trip.
