This cosy traditional Shetland croft house which originates from early 1900's is surrounded by fields and located just by the coastline. The ewes and lambs outside the sittingroom will greet you every morning. The cottage, which has recently been refurbished, has 3 bedrooms and is situated in a peaceful area only 3/4 of a mile outside the village of Aith. An ideal place for families, hiking, cycling, angling and wildlife spotting. With its central location on the West Mainland of Shetland it is a great base for exploring the rest of our beautiful islands.
The cottage comprises kitchen, living room, bathroom and one double bedroom downstairs. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with two single beds and one with a double bed and a single bed. Altogether there is room for 7 people to sleep. High chair and travel cot is available on request. The cottage has underfloor heating, wi-fi, a smart tv, dvd-player and a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine. There is private parking, storage shed, yard and the coastline is just 1 minute from your door step. On your arrival to our cottage there will be tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and fresh eggs from our own farm waiting for you.
Please note: the dining table seats 4 people comfortably. The bathroom is being refurbished this winter and will be completed by the 1st of March 2020. It has a toilet, a sink and a shower.
