Welcome to our charming guest house at Myers Meadows, a serene retreat where you can leave the worries of everyday life behind and immerse yourself in a peaceful vacation in beautiful Athens, Ohio.

As you enter through the gate and drive up the picturesque apple and oak tree-lined driveway, our friendly barn cats and Ginny hens (who keep their distance) will be there to greet you. The guest house welcomes you with an inviting covered porch and a convenient private parking space right in front.

Step inside and discover a cozy and modern living room adorned with comfortable furniture, a dining table, and a wall-mounted Roku big-screen TV, providing the perfect space to unwind after a day of exploring the outdoors.

The gourmet kitchen is a delight, featuring elegant granite countertops, a commercial-grade range, a fridge, a high island, multiple prep sinks, and breathtaking views that make cleanup a breeze.

The downstairs bathroom offers a touch of luxury with a spacious walk-in shower and a wall of glass block windows that flood the room with natural light.

Upstairs, you'll find two bedrooms with queen beds, adorned with fantastic picture windows that offer scenic views. One of the bedrooms also includes a dedicated guest workspace and a cozy sitting area, where you can savor the tranquility of a quiet morning with a cup of coffee and a good book. Please note that the bedrooms are private but have a passthrough at the ceiling, so they are not completely soundproof.

The property itself is a haven of beauty, featuring various fruit trees, bushes, and flowers that you are welcome to explore and enjoy. We've also created an outdoor hangout space with a fire pit, perfect for basking in the sunshine during the day or marveling at the stunning night skies that Ohio has to offer.

Additionally, there is a gas grill and an outdoor dining area for your convenience.

We love pets and have dedicated a large fenced-in meadow for your furry friends to frolic and play during their stay. However, please keep your pets on a leash while exploring the rest of the homestead due to other animals on the property. Please note that we charge a nightly per pet fee of $30.

Conveniently located, our guest house provides easy access to Athens and OU, both just 15 minutes away. You'll also find an array of hiking options nearby, including Strouds Run State Park, Zaleski State Forest, and Lake Hope, all within a 20-30 minute drive. For a scenic adventure, take the lovely drive down Route 56 to Hocking Hills State Park, located just under an hour away.

A short 5-minute drive down the road will lead you to the town of Albany, where you can find essential amenities and savor a cup of locally roasted coffee at Three Folds Roasters.

Please note that while we moved into the main residence in July 2022, we may be working on the farm during your stay. Rest assured, we'll do our best to ensure that your stay is not disrupted.

We're more than happy to chat with you about our work or offer recommendations for things to do in the area. However, if you prefer privacy, we'll respect your wishes with a simple hello.

Important details to note:

Max number of guests allowed on the property is 6.

Max number of cars is 3.

We do live in our own house on property so If any daytime guests are not included in the reservation, we must know who is going to be there.

Events, parties or anything or the like are strictly prohibited.

If any of this is violated we reserve the right to cancel your remaining reservation without refund.

We keep our base rate lower than average to attract groups of all sizes. Additional guest fees apply based on the number in your group. Please review our house rules for fee details to ensure a smooth stay.

Please note: The number of towels provided is based on the stated guest count. The housekeepers also base how many bedding sets to bring and the time needed to get the place cleaned and turned over after your stay. If the guest or pet count is misstated, it may result in additional cleaning fees to be charged.

As passionate animal lovers, we welcome pets with a daily fee. Please indicate if you'll be bringing any pets along. To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, we kindly request that all pets be treated for fleas, ticks, and heartworm.

Stay connected with high-speed Starlink internet, ideal for streaming and online activities, but be mindful of bandwidth if multiple users are streaming simultaneously. We've also curated a vast collection of games and movies for your entertainment. It is a satellite connection so 100% connectivity cannot be guaranteed, but it is generally quite reliable.

Kindly ensure you take all your belongings with you upon departure, as we are not responsible for items left behind. Should you require items to be mailed back, a fee of $100 plus shipping costs applies.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to safeguard against the possibility of having to cancel after the cancellation window closes. Our cancellation policy remains in effect as stated.
