A 5 minute walk from the city center, it is a very spacious house located in a very quiet area, just for houses. It has a private pool (1.70 deep), huge balconies very cool and pleasant with a privileged view to the Alcobaça Monastery. It has 4 rooms (2 suites with private bathroom and 2 normal rooms with a bathroom) kitchen, toilet to support the rooms and dining room. Alcobaça is a city located in the center of the country and very close to well known beaches such as S. Martinho do Porto, Nazaré, Baleal, Peniche, Paredes and many others. It is also close to the cities of Caldas da Raínha and Leiria. Long walks can be done on foot or by bicycle. Alcobaça is a very peaceful city, but at the same time very fun, with very quiet areas and very lively areas with many bars. Our house is very well framed as it benefits from rest and agitation 5 minutes away. All visitors have made very complimentary comments, being very amazed by the beauty and charm of our home.

This is a lovely, older home with a gorgeous view of the Monastery. It is a very short walk into the town (although down a very, very steep hill) where you can get coffee and fresh bread. The pool in the backyard was the perfect place to cool down in after an adventure to Nazaré (15-20 minute drive) or other Portugal sights.
The house was spacious with lots of rooms for the six of us to enjoy. We especially liked having meals on the back porch with the views. It was helpful having a driveway to park our vehicle. Antique lovers will appreciate the beds and other furniture and the wall to wall tiles.
One thing for folks to consider at this rental is that the toilets in two of the bathrooms face the wall so closely that you cannot sit straight on them. They are two inches from the wall. Fortunately there are two other bathrooms in two of the bedrooms with more room. The house also does not have air conditioning.
