The Space:
With premium furniture, low ceilings and colourful soft furnishings, The Old Post Office has beautiful interiors throughout. Guests have two living rooms to choose from so you can socialise with your loved ones in two cosy spaces. With a wealth of guidebooks, you can also enjoy reading about the local area and make plans for the rest of your stay in Northumberland. The main living room features a wood burning stove, while the second living room is home to a wood burning effect stove.
The property has a fully equipped kitchen which includes an oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle, and toaster. There is also a washing machine making The Old Post Office ideal for both short and longer-term stays. You can enjoy your home cooked meals in the dining area in the open plan living and dining room.
The property benefits from two stylish and relaxing bedrooms - one king and one twin. Both rooms boast luxury mattresses, bedding and linens to ensure the best night's sleep. The spaces are complete with ample storage space so you can make yourself right at home.
The family bathroom includes a walk-in corner shower, WC and wash basin for your convenience.
Head outside and you’ll find an enclosed decked area with a bench, small table, and chairs so you can bask in the sun here in the summer months. To the front of The Old Post Office is a small garden so you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to enjoying the fresh Northumberland air throughout your stay.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to The Old Post Office are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to your stay.
Private on-site parking is available for one vehicle. Free on-street parking is also available throughout Chatton.
A maximum of two small/medium well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at The Old Post Office per reservation. Please note that small dogs may be able to fit between the bars of the front gate so extra caution should be taken.

Getting Around:
The closest train station to Chatton can be found in Chathill. From here, there is regular direct access to Morpeth, Newcastle and the Metrocentre. A number of connecting routes can also be found from these stations so getting to other locations around the UK could not be easier.
One bus route operates through Chatton. Hop on the 473 which runs from High Fair to Alnwick with stops in Wooler and surrounding villages.
