Welcome to Big Texan RV Ranch. We strive to give you quality service with a comfortable atmosphere. We’re located east of Amarillo on the north side of I-40 at Exit 74. Big Texan RV Ranch offers long, spacious pull-thru sites. Enjoy our heated indoor pool – open year round. We are easy to find, walking distance to Starlight Ranch, shopping and restaurants, including the famous Big Texan Steak Ranch with a complimentary shuttle service to and from your true Texan dining experience.

The Space:
Staying in the Big Texan Cabins is a unique and exciting experience that offers visitors a taste of the old west with all the modern comforts of home. The cabins are located on the grounds of the Big Texan RV Ranch in Amarillo, Texas, right off I-40. Each cabin is beautifully decorated and features rustic furnishings, western-themed decor, and all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

Fun Getaway
Would highly recommend this property for families looking for a fun escape. There are plenty of activities to keep kids of all ages entertained on site. As a bonus, the property is just a short drive from Amarillo's major attractions.

These cabins cozy and comfortable with everything we needed. Easy and convenient location. I wish we had brought sleep masks because the party lights outside that make the park look fun and festive stay on all night and shine into the bedrooms.

Not at All What I Expected
The property managers didn’t appear to be prepared for cabin guests. There wasn’t any ice in the refrigerator freezer nor any ice trays. We could buy bagged ice at $3.50/7 lb bag. This was more consistent with the RV clientele at this location, not cabin residents. There was no kitchen dish cloth and the dishes were plastic so questionable for microwave use. The most disappointing thing was the cracks in the joints of the cabin. This allowed in flies and LOTS of noise. The location close to the freeway would have been fine with adequate insulation. Nice surrounding, accommodations for dogs and play areas and pool for kids. The cabin patio area was nice and great rockers. Just not what I expected.
