Tranquil Home in Beautiful Setting

Conveniently located within walking distance of Walmart, several restaurants, and beautiful Ada Hayden Park, it offers quick, easy access to well-traveled streets, while remaining tucked away off the beaten path for quiet and privacy.

The property is legally a duplex. This listing consists of the entire main level of the house plus a bonus bedroom, half bath, and laundry room in the lower level. The other "half" of the duplex is the remainder of the lower level, and has its own private entrance and full-time, wonderful, quiet tenant. You likely never would know anyone was there!

This space has been modernly decorated throughout, and includes a living room with seating for 9, a spacious kitchen with a dining table with seating for 8 and counter seating for 2, four bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms.

Each bedroom comes equipped with a queen bed and TV. Three of the bedrooms are on the main level, and one is on the lower level.

Our cold weather guests may enjoy a stimulating sensation! Bring your bathing suit and plan to treat yourself to a soak in our 4-6 person inflatable hot tub! Tucked away in our back yard unheated cabana, our hot tub allows you to sink inside and let the jets heat and massage you, while the crisp, cool air simultaneously invigorates you! Just sit back, relax, and let the bubbles float your worries away!

This house includes driveway parking for three cars. Street parking is available for overflow.

It says whole house when in fact there’s a tenant living in the bottom half of the basement. They have their own entrance but it’s weird having someone staying below you.Hot tub is a vinyl one and was small but hot. House was clean. Host was very helpful with information for what we asked about.

This was no doubt the best VRBO experience we have had. Host Gina provided an array of welcoming items including milk, juices, fruit, donuts and bathroom amenities! Unexpected tenant living in basement

Was not aware that there was a tenant living in the basement of the property- We did not see them but at night was loud til after midnight with TV noise. Noise was right above bedroom and made it hard to sleep. Because we travel with our four children it made me uncomfortable knowing there was a tenant and i was on alert more when my kids went outside. Hot tub is not able to fit six adults - maybe 3. There is no seating in the hot tub - see picture. Dirty pots/pans in cupboard. Overall clean and accommodating, nice neighborhood close to many amenities. Ames is a beautiful small city and nice place to visit.

A great family week

Fantastic space for entertainment! Immacculate. Well-stocked kitchen with good amenities. Used this space for a no-host Holiday, and it worked perfectly, allowing family members from out of state a homey place to stay, without pressuring the Ames residents to host at their house. Football weekend

Traveled from Kansas for the KSU v ISU football game. It was a fantastic place to stay while up for the weekend. We tailgated in the warmth of the house instead of the freezing temperatures.
