Close to Greenhorn Creek and Saddle Creek golf courses, New Melones Reservoir and Lake Tullock , access to 32 local wineries, and an hour from skiing at Bear Valley. Lovely warm days are filled with fun and excitement then enjoy the soft summer breeze in the evenings. Approximately 1,600 sq. ft. of living space. We arrived to a scene of neglect: dead birds tangled in nets in the rafters, dog feces, coyote scat, and bird droppings covering the patio. Four more birds became trapped and died screaming, violently and slowly. It took nearly two days for someone to respond, and even then only one corpse was removed.There was no expectation of cleanliness. The ash bin and fireplace were overflowing with nowhere to dump ashes. Hood vents were thick with grease. The refrigerator shelves were dirty. The dishwasher barely functioned—it didn’t heat water and often failed to release detergent—forcing us to wash everything by hand, perhaps explaining why no dishwasher soap was provided. The showers were revolting: filthy shelves, used personal items left behind, and shower heads so calcified that only a handful of nozzles worked.The house itself was dirty—filthy baseboards, chipped dishes, a tea kettle filled with sludge, no promised coffee pods. Communication was nearly impossible due to unreliable Wi-Fi and no cell service. I spent the trip cleaning just to make the place safe for immunocompromised guests.Privacy was nonexistent. On the first morning, I walked into the living room in pajamas to find two employees outside the picture window staring in. Only after arrival does one discover—buried in paperwork—that this is a working farm. The host’s sudden international trip left no one responsible, and it was clear from day one that I was entirely on my own. Simply put: a miserable trip

The “barn” is even more impressive in person than it is online. We had an amazing time spending a few days there reconnecting with our teenage and college-age daughters. Our family of five was quite comfortable. The place has all of the amenities of a cozy cabin- with inspiring decor throughout. We drove up to Spicer Sno Park and had a great time. Angel’s Camp is also a charming town. The hosts are incredibly accessible and prompt with their responses. We definitely plan to return.

Vineyard Paradise

Such a lovely & large property! The outside space is beautiful and full of options (fire pit, corn hole, darts, dining). The inside is very roomy & well appointed too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pull out couch is a bit short for taller people (over 6'), but other than that, this property well exceeded all expectations! 5 star location!

Heaven is located in a vineyard!

We ran a b&b for 15 years and are at a loss to think about how our stay could have been better. Beautful property, magnificently decorated down to the smallest detail. Very peaceful.

Great location

This was a great home base for exploring the GoldCountry. The house is comfortable, and we enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the birds come and go. The bedroom screens need to be replaced, and the dishwasher didn’t work well (hot water issue?). Easy fixes. I recommend this property.

Thanksgiving Stay

We stayed here for thanksgiving it was so great. It felt so cozy and fall like. Pretty views everywhere. The house is comfortable and it had everything you need in the kitchen. Could use a deep cleaning in some areas and especially the windows. Loved watching the wildlife and was close enough to everything you need. Host was helpful and communication was good.

Fantastic property in a beautiful setting

The photos did not prepare us for how amazing this property was - very spacious living area inside, and with a very well developed yard, quite a lovely place to have all to ourselves! It was so much bigger/grander than expected we weren't sure we were in the right place until opening the lockbox! Will definitely try to have a reason to come back!

Enjoyed our stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with me family and parents. Perfect location if you plan to drive to Yosemite and also Lake Tahoe. Both around 2 or more hours. Would recommend staying here.
