Come Enjoy the serene and peaceful mountain setting. Arnold has something for everyone.

Chalet style cabin with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with tubs.
About 3 min walk down to the private Tanner Lake in the Lakemont Pines subdivision.
The Cabin offers all the comforts of home from a fully stocked kitchen to a large soaking tub you can enjoy with a glass of wine.
There is a BBQ on the top deck overlooking the forest. Deer, wild turkeys and fox have been spotted regularly. Security cameras on front door and side of house for your safety.

Guests will have access to the private lake down the street where amazing family memories can be made.
2 adult kayaks and a kids kayak are available for your use.
As well as life jackets, fishing poles, sand toys and more.

The lake offers a sandy beach area to relax and soak in the sun. Little ones can build sand castles and play in the roped off swimming area.
Kayaking and SUP are very popular. Tubes of all shapes and sizes can be seen floating across the lake.
The best fishing in town is done right from the shore. Pick up a box of night crawlers at the gas station and you won’t be able to keep the fish off your hook. From Bluegill to large mouth bass to catfish. It’s an anglers paradise.

Nearby activities in Arnold include The 17 mile hike on the Arnold Rim Trail. There are many branches of hikes off the Rim Trail that take you to peaks with breath taking views or a waterfall.
In town there is shopping, restaurants, a grocery store, a tackle shop as well as an outdoor adventure sporting goods store.

Within 20 min you can visit the town of Murphys. There you will find wineries, boutique shopping, fine dining and an outdoor music venue overlooking a vineyard.

Bear Valley Ski Resort is a 35 min drive up the mountain.

Within 45 min you can take your family to remote reservoirs and enjoy kayaking, cliff jumping off large granite boulders and so much more.

Annual Trip

The checkin process was simple. The property was clean and comfortable. Newer kitchen and bathrooms. The air conditioners worked great! The kitchen had all the necessities and more. Short walk to the lake. The host Melissa was responsive when i had a question. Great visit!

The only house I want to come back to!

Wow! What a perfect house. I have stayed at many rentals in Lakemont and this is our new go-to. The house was SPOTLESS and every little detail felt like an upgrade. From the AC to the fridge, to the huge bathtub! What a perfect house and stay. Cannot wait to come back again and again.

Great Lakemont Location

We enjoyed our 3-night stay here very much. Good communication with the host and easy check in and checkout. A nice deck for sitting in the trees is right outside the living room. It is an easy walk to the lake and the place fit us perfectly.

Perfect family cabin

Super clean, walking distance to the wonderful lakemont pines beach with tons of activities for kids. Very comfortable beds, lots of kitchen supplies. Everything made for a perfect stay!

Amazing lake!

Great vacation home for baby

My parents, my husband and I had a great time at this place with our nearly one year old. We were so appreciative that they had all the gear - baby bed, chair for sitting at the table, and most importantly baby gates! It was a relief not to have to bring all that equipment. We also really enjoyed using the kayaks (they even had a baby water floaty). The house was exactly as described/pictured, clean and the beds were comfortable. We were slightly confused about the A/C controls, and the host was very helpful and accessible- she answered my call right away and fixed the problem remotely. Enjoyed our time there!

Great location and nice owner

Owner was prompt answering questions. Location was great. The most fun was spending it outside in the front yard. A slight hill in the driveway so our little kids were able to sled down and play with snowball makers that were both available to use. Close to the snow parks (30 min) and the village.

Home Away From Home

This property in the Lakemont development area of Arnold checked all the boxes as a home away from home for our family to celebrate my 60th bday and give our 20-month old grandbaby her first snow experience. The downstairs space with king bed and private bath was perfect for the toddler and her parents, while we and our other adult child had nice queen bedrooms and the shared bathroom. Kitchen, dining and living rooms were all spacious and comfortable. We would have liked more light in the living room area and more blankets for cozying up, but otherwise we had everything we might have wanted. Melissa was a considerate and very responsive host. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Great Location!

Lovely cabin! The location was wonderful with flat parking. The inside of the cabin was decorated super cute ( loved the Christmas tree) and had everything we needed. Excellent proximity to the lake, store, Big Trees-would highly recommend!

A great mountain retreat with lakeside activities.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. The cabin was well furnished, nicely decorated and had everything we needed including a well stocked kitchen, good WiFi, nice TVs and lake toys. I communicated with the owner Melissa several times and she was great to deal with. The community lake was great for kids and adults with swimming, kayaking, paddle boards and fishing. There is lots to do in the region including visiting wineries in Murphy’s, the gold rush town of Columbia and Caleveras big trees. We loved this home and our family time here. We will definitely rent this cabin again.

Real home away from home

Everything was pretty perfect, especially the AC in every room! We had a baby with us and we’re happy to find there was a baby gate and baby high chair in the closet! We had a great time! Layout was great with the kitchen connected to the dining and living room. Very short walk to the lake was a big plus!

Perfect Little Getaway

This was a sweet little refuge for our stay. Our family of three found it very peaceful. The cabin was clean and full of light. The seating was plentiful. We played a board game they had on hand. It got cold, and the heaters worked well. The kitchen was well-supplied with cookware, and the appliances worked like new. The beds were really comfortable. It's close to the town center while feeling remote. We encountered neighborhood deer and a highly vocal turkey during our visit! Communication with the owner was clear, and she was very responsive. We will definitely reserve this home again for future visits.

Clean and great location

We were at first surprised at how small the cabin is with 7 adults and 2 children. My 7 year old grandson and his mom slept on the fold out couch in the living room upstairs, and used the bathroom and kept their clothes in the downstairs bedroom where my infant grandson and his parents slept. That was the only inconvenience. But having the infant downstairs was great as we hardly heard him in the night. Overall very nice. Thank you Melissa!

We felt lucky to have been able to stay at such a nice place during COVID but having to pack in all our bedding was a bit of a challenge. The place was nice and location was great!

Enjoyable stay

Nicely updated and clean cabin in a good location. Walking distance to lake and playground what was good with the little kids. Kitchen was well equipped and owner responsive and helpful. Only annoyance is the trash handling as they have no bear protected trashcans so ever time the trash bags are full you have to bring it to the recycling center 5 miles away which is also closed Wednesday and Thursday. Overall recommended
