New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

Looking for a magical vacation? This home has everything you could possibly dream of for your next getaway. Under new ownership, it is packed with sophisticated decor and paired with high-end technology. Surely, this is not your average beach cottage!

You are greeted on the first level with a well-equipped game room with a large TV and pool table. A large home theater with a 120-inch screen and brand new seating is adjacent to the game room. With so many amenities, you may actually wish for a rainy day!

Walk out to the first level deck and take the stairs leading to the private pool, hot tub, and tropical bar and you will find the perfect place for entertaining family and friends. The large pool also features an outdoor sound system so you can listen to all your favorite tunes poolside so don't forget to bring your iPod! A family BBQ by the pool will be a breeze on the gas grill. A sand volleyball court is also available for fun play and an outdoor shower/changing area is convenient for quick cleanup.

The first of six bedrooms is located on the first floor with two sets of bunk beds and its own private bath. On the second floor, you will find four more main bedrooms, all with king-size beds, private full baths, and flatscreen HDTVs with Blu-ray players. Each of the second-level bedrooms has its own access to the second-level deck featuring breathtaking views of the ocean. Just imagine falling asleep to the sound of the waves breaking on the beach right outside your door. Located on the top floor is a huge main suite with a king-size bed and its own oceanfront private deck access. Step outside to watch for shooting stars or listen to some relaxing music from the top deck area while you watch the waves roll into the shoreline.

Enjoy your morning coffee, while the sun rises over the sparkling blue Atlantic Ocean from the wall of windows in the spacious great room on the main level floor. A commercial ice maker and commercial six-burner gas grill with a griddle, two dishwashers, and a wine/beverage cooler is just a start. You will find a huge gourmet kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances and granite countertops that will provide you with everything you could dream of for preparing those special family meals together. The dining room has plenty of seating for the entire family. The great room features a stone fireplace topped with a large flatscreen HDTV and Blu-ray player, great for watching all your favorite shows and movies!

Great house!

Overall, we had a great stay at the house. The kitchen was amazing and we loved having 2 dishwashers. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We also loved having 2 washers and dryers! The elevator was very handy for moving in and out. It also was great for my mom who has difficulties with all the steps. We enjoyed the outdoor deck furniture on both the top and middle levels of the house.

Best place we've ever stayed in. Only thing I would tweek is that I would love to have been able to heat the pool some. We're planning on staying again next year, and I would like to see ideas on that.

Views views views! This by far was the most beautiful house that we rented in the Outer Banks. Updated and modern, all the bedrooms have a gorgeous view of the ocean. We didn't want to leave.

Family Vacation

The views of the ocean and beach were fabulous. The house was very accommodating for our family of 13 which included 4 children, a teenager and 8 adults. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The third floor kitchen and living areas were very roomy. The hot tub was not working when we arrived, but we contacted the property manager and the next day a repairman showed up and repaired it. The pool was a hit with the young children. The movie room was also very nice. As a whole group, we only used it once; we should have used it more. The house is located close to a grocery store to get the supplies needed on vacation. We made all our meals in the house. The side griddle on the gas stove made the best homemade pancakes. There were a few minor wear and tear items, but overall, I would definitely recommend this rental for an outer banks vacation. The location of the home is in a more remote spot on the Outer Banks. The busy areas such as Kitty Hawk, Nags Head, etc are miles north. That being said if you like a quiet relaxing vacation, this location was great.

Vacasa house in Avon, NC

Although the setting is very nice on a quiet street off of NC 12 in Avon, the house itself was poorly maintained and was the dirtiest house I have ever visited in 35 years of renting vacation homes. The cleanliness issues are too numerous to list here but two examples standout. 1. the dirt and grease were so thick on the hood over the range/oven in the kitchen you could write your name in the grime. 2. one of our family members found a soiled diaper under their bed! I believe this is more the fault of the Vacasa management company leaders than it is the local cleaning crew.

The space was perfect for our family. Unfortunately, the maintenance of the property was not so great. None of the electronic games in the game room worked. About half of the recliners actually reclined. The door to the master bath was literally hanging by a hinge making it impossible open or close. Pills were found on the bathroom floor upon arrival as well as empty soda bottles in a bedroom. I was disappointed to not find at least a starter of hand soap and a garbage bag or two. The pool was perfect and the view second to none. Not sure if I’d rebook this property.

Beautiful View

The home itself is beautiful and the views can’t be beat. Gorgeous. But we did have a few issues. We had trouble with the direct tv and ended up streaming off of our tablet. The theater room, was the same we had to use our devices and most of the seats didn’t work. The door wasn’t on its track, the pool table needs repair, as does the football table. The jukebox didn’t work and one video game wouldn’t come on at all and the other had no sound. We were there during a tropical storm and we had a major leak which I reported in one of the bedrooms. Around the top of the door, we put a couple of bathroom trash cans to try to catch the water. We love the Outer Banks and had a great time, just a little disappointed that all the amenities weren’t as described

Beach House Expectations

It's a beach house, so you expect some imperfections.... We came to cook and to have close access to the beach - everything and more we had for these activities. The kitchen appliances and furnishings were great, more than usual. The large table easily accommodated our 8 adult guests. Ample room in the kitchen for two or three cooks as well. Bedrooms and baths were OK, but nothing ordinarily good or bad about them. Probably just need a real good cleaning and some minor repairs to bring it up a level. Game room and movie theatre were disappointing for sure. Juke box, video games were non operating. Only 4 of 12 seats were functional in the movie room, and while dvd's played, there were no directions as to how to get the AppleTV device to work for streaming. Deck was amazing - outfit with the best outdoor furniture made. Totally an unexpected pleasure to sit and enjoy the ocean view. All in all we came to cook and enjoy the beach - thus this place fit us almost perfectly....

Unfortunately this home did not check many of the boxes as promised . Management was notified x 3 and we received approx 12 % discount on our bill the day before leaving . We went in person fo the office on day 2 to get things fixed and nothing happened . It took another call and a email for someone to finally take our complaints seriously Cons Bathroom door off it’s hinges , repaired after 6 days Arcade games broken Projector broken in movie room - unusable No cable tv - luckily my son brought his lap top and own cables so we would could watch a movie on his Amazon acct Garbage in pool area left from last guests Sliding doors onto decks not sliding No wifi at pool / bottom deck Tiki bar is not a bar it’s a dirty sink Water and ice on fridge door broken You get the idea - the list is long Pros Great location - walkable distance to grocery store and restaurant Beautiful beach front access Stove and most of kitchen was great - lacking sharp knives and a kettle Bedrooms were large and nicely decorated Air Con was great Living room was spacious and comfy Lots of deck and pool chairs Entry was easy on Day 1- we were able to access home @ 4 pm Check out was painless

Beautiful views & very clean, but taking off a couple stars

The house is absolutely stunning. The views from the balconies are amazing. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was nice and spacious. This is definitely the most beautiful beach house I've ever stayed in. It's a very short walk over a dune to get to the beach. I would recommend this house to anyone, but I am taking off a couple stars for several reasons. Multiple recliners in the movie theater room are broken. They cannot be reclined or pushed back down. One of the arcade machines were broken, and the game room door was almost too rusty to open. It took a lot of effort with both hands to pull it open. In addition, the lights on the lower deck were not working. We wanted to sit on the deck in the evenings to grill out, but we couldn't unless we wanted to sit in pitch-black darkness. The wifi doesn't work well on the first or second floor so if we needed to get on the internet on those floors, we had to turn the wifi off on our phones and just use our phone network. The second floor rooms were miserably hot, even though the air conditioner was on. For some reason, it started working the last two days of our trip. Lastly, the hot water didn't reach the third floor unless you let it run for quite a while, and the pressure was very light. Even with the cons listed above, I'd still recommend staying for the amazing views and beautiful home.
