Our Guests can enjoy our beautiful local beach with our membership at the Beach Club while you are staying at our House. The Beach Club has a Restaurant & Bar, Free Internet, Swimming pool, Restrooms, Showers, Free parking, and a Private access to the white sandy beach.
Our tropical Community is surrounded by an additional 100+ acres of a protected wildlife reserve so it is located in the perfect wildlife corridor with many animals visiting daily. The Panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, Isla Ballena, Cano Island, Tres Hermanas (Three Sisters rocks), Osa Peninsula, and the surrounding Rain forest will take your breath away!
Have your camera ready! Enjoy everyday visits of the Howler monkeys, white-faced capuchin monkeys, white-nosed coatimundi, agoutis, iguanas, toucans, parrots, many other exotic birds, beautiful butterflies including the spectacular blue morpho, dragonflies, frogs, and other jungle wildlife.
Villa Kristina Maria has 4 spacious bedrooms each with its own sliding glass door which opens onto its own exterior deck. Both of the 2 Master bedroom suites have Air Conditioning. There is one upstairs Master bedroom suite and one downstairs Master bedroom suite.
Relax under the cool covered deck in rocking chairs, hammock, or lounge chairs. Go for a swim in the sparkling tiled swimming pool. Listen to the sounds of the natural rock waterfall surrounded by lush tropical plants and flowers. Enjoy an ice cold drink made from the delicious fruits of the area while sitting under the palapya covered deck at the fully equipped wet bar with refrigerator, sink and bar stools. The home is tropically furnished including beautiful artwork by local Costa Rican artisans. Each of the four bedrooms has a queen sized bed, pillow top mattress, mirrored armoire wardrobe, and its own covered deck, plus views of the Ocean, Islands and Jungle. Every room in the house is vented with woodwork and screens done by local artisans to enhance the constant gentle flow of cool ocean breezes throughout the house.
The spacious FULLY EQUIPPED GOURMET KITCHEN has all that is necessary to cater to large families. It has a Breakfast Bar with granite countertops and specially hand crafted modern wooden cabinetry throughout. The fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, tropical designed dishes, toaster, electric coffee maker, blender, pots and pans, cooking utensils and beautiful custom granite counters is the social center of the home. For an extra special treat, create your own gourmet dinner and serve it in the dining room or outdoor deck table while enjoying the sunset views over the ocean. Sit in the living room, open the sliding glass doors, and create a spacious indoor/outdoor living area with panoramic views of the ocean, surrounding jungle covered mountains, pool, and Costa Rica wildlife.
Villa Kristina Maria is conveniently located for amenities; The small town of Uvita is only 10 minutes away where you find Banks, a selection of several well-stocked Supermarkets and also a variety of Restaurants serving local and international cuisine. Dominical is north of our house about 15 minutes drive that also has a variety of restaurants, stores and a few bars for nightlife. And Ojochal is south about 15 minutes drive and has a good choice of local and gourmet restaurants.
So many beautiful scenes will delight you as you sit on the upstairs balcony and watch in awe as the sunrise and sunset transform the sky! Watch from the balcony for the many varieties of wildlife in the area.
Hike to beautiful waterfalls, streams and cascades in our private gated reserve. Easy access by car to stores, and restaurants, and just minutes to beautiful tropical beaches where the jungle meets the shore, and the ocean temperatures range from 78 - 85 degrees year around!
In addition to suggestions about the best local restaurants, we are happy to assist our guests with contact information for making reservations for nearby activities and excursions. There are so many thrilling and educational Adventures in the area.... Something to please everyone.
