The Space:

Welcome to this 175 m2 spacious and bright flat in a historical building 12 mins walking to Eixample Neighborhood. It offers a great place in the middle of Barcelona.



This apartment has been recently renovated with modern and comfy touches ideal for your stay in the city. Natural light flows through the living area, making it bright and airy. Surrounded by large windows, the room has a large, comfy sofa, and flat-screen TV, so you can make yourself at home. The open-plan space includes a dining table, so you can enjoy a meal with family or friends. You’ll find everything you need to prepare a meal in the well-equipped kitchen. All the appliances are modern and easy to use.



⚠ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Walls are very thin and other residents of the building very sensitive to noises. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.

The Neighborhood:

This apartment is conveniently placed near Diagonal avenue and not far from the city centre. Diagonal was originally projected by engineer and urban planner Ildefons CerdĂ  as one of the city's wide avenues, which along with Avinguda Meridiana would cut the grid he designed for l'Eixample. Both would meet at Plaça de les GlĂČries Catalanes, which CerdĂ  envisioned as the new city centre. However, Plaça Catalunya, equally a new addition to the city of Barcelona, and connecting Ciutat Vella and Eixample, and therefore occupying a more privileged position in the urban area, would finally become the centre.



The apartment is also well connected to Paseig de Sant Joan, a wide avenue that connects the neighbourhood of Gràcia with the Arc del Triomf right by the Born district. It doesn't just link two of the city's coolest neighbourhoods, it has recently become the go-to place for Barcelona locals. The stretch between Carrer Valùncia and Carrer Casp and the surrounding area has been newly laid out making it ideal for cyclists and pedestrians. It has become a hotspot with interesting bars and restaurants, delightful shops and places that will simply amaze you. In a nutshell
 you can't afford to miss it.



Getting Around:

The closest metro station is Diagonal (Lines 3 & 5).

The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the train towards "Aeroport" at Passeig de Gracia. There are trains every 20min and it costs around 5€.

*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***



- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.



- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.



- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation

and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction

2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.

3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).

4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.

5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.

6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.

7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.



Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Bien situé

Appartement bien situĂ© (10 mn Sagrada Familia, mĂ©tro au pied de l'immeuble) mais c'est un peu sombre car peu de fenĂȘtre et au 1er Ă©tage Le gestionnaire est Ă  l'Ă©coute et rĂ©pond rapidement mais il y a quelques ajustements Ă  faire dans l'appartement La cuisine ne permet pas de cuisiner car il y a peu d'ustensile 1 chasse d'eau ne fonctionne pas trĂšs bien 3 chambres donnent sur la terrasse d'un voisin donc on a trĂšs mal dormi une nuit car les personnes ont parlĂ© jusqu'Ă  3h du matin

Super séjour

Cet appartement est vraiment trÚs bien situé. Il est vraiment trÚs bien agencé et trÚs beau. Il peut accueillir de nombreuses personnes avec 4 lits 2 places et 3 salles de bain. Le séjour est trÚs lumineux. Seuls quelques bruits de travaux et d'évacuation de l'immeuble se font entendre. Nous avons passé un super séjour. La TV mériterait un peu plus de diversité dans les chaßnes.

Great space for a group. We stayed with a group of 4 friends and it was nice to each have their own bedroom. The place as very clean. The host was very responsive. Location was great--lots of restaurants within walking distance. Unlocking the doors always took a few tries (you'll need to make sure you have service). The WiFi also didn't reach the last 2 rooms. Took use a while to figure out where the laundry room was (off the kitchen door). Also, the place did not have a wine opener. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

The most annoying thing is the lock system. It did not work properly or we did not use it properly but we followed the instructions to the t. The bathroom shower system was also from the last century. One dining room chair was so badly bent that someone almost fell from it. One light fixture in the bedroom did not work but I fixed it. Still the wall fixture by the dining room table did not work and looked in bad shape. Most floors were clean enough but could use some closer attention

What a city!!

Great, easy communication!! Just an issue with wifi and the doors have virtual locks that were complicated. The home is really nice with no issues. We had 6 adults and everyone was comfortable. Several restaurants near by that we walked to. Nice kitchen even though we didn’t use it.

Very happy with our stay

Best location that is just across the street from the metro and walking distance to many restaurants. We were a group of 8 so it was hard to find a place to fit all of us but the rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were updated. The living room and dining room were bigger than expected! Great place to unwind after seeing the sites. One thing to note is that in order to open the doors you need connection to the internet/cell service. Overall highly recommend! It was a great stay!

Comfortable for Groups

We were three 65+ couples sharing this apartment. It worked well for us for a 4-night stay. Everything was within a 30 minute walk, and we took in dining in the Gothic Quarter as well as visiting all the Gaudi sights. There were simple restaurants for tapas nearby, but more upscale ones near La Rambla—cabs back we’re about 10 Euros, but we walked most of the time. All bathrooms are off the main hall, and some bedrooms had no closet space. Some clothes needed to remain in suitcases or put on shelves in the hallways. One unused bedroom was used for overflow unpacked clothing. As with other Vrbos we visited on this trip, there was no supply of paper products (toilet paper, towels, tissues) beyond what might have been left by prior guests. There was very limited glassware and virtually no kitchen condiments, etc. We particularly liked the living room area for gatherings in the mornings (we bought fruit and coffee/creamer) prior to headings out for our days. We also had wine/cheese, etc in the evinces before our dinners (later in Spain than US). While there are four bedrooms (full sized beds), we would recommend that only 3 couples share this apartment unless they are comfortable sharing the small bathrooms.
