Good, clean room adjacent to the Talbott Tavern. Complementary made to order breakfast was served each morning. Our room also had a nice jetted tub for two with complimentary coffee, water, refrigerator and microwave. Who could ask more? Even the mattress was perfect!

Just an overnighter but we lucked into the Jesse James room! Comes with its own museum about James’s time in Bardstown. Our room was nicely updated and we’re pretty sure (at least my wife was) Jesse’s ghost was rattling our door after midnight! Nice restaurant and bar all inside the inn, which was a good thing on a rainy day.

Friendly helpful staff, spotless room, comfortable bed. We stayed in the Lincoln room near the balcony and it was so cool. Close to the road so there is street noise but we were able to sleep well. Excellent singer in the bar the restaurant had a varied menu with some local specialties. Recommend the fried green tomatoes and shepherds pie! Loved staying in such a historic building.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was very much appreciated. The check in was not ideal since I had to check in late due to my flight being diverted. I was barely able to get a hold of anyone trying 3 different extensions, and then I walked around the buildings for 5-10 minutes trying to find the lock box, and then which door I should use the key for to get in the building. There also wasn't anyone at check out initially to give the keys to upon leaving. When I did talk to anyone, they were usually pleasant, however. It's a cool location, with a lot of history, and walking distance to many other restaurants and pubs.
