After a terrible check in, Expedia had not updated the hotel as to the changes made some 4 months before, and charging me an extortionate rate to make the changes!!! Wasn’t a great start to our visit, eventually it was sorted out by the great hotel staff! Cannot fault the hotel, great amenities great location and helpful friendly staff

Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. The hotel and the room were both modern and clean. It was still a little basic. There were hardly any drawers in the room, none by the bed. There were no products, i.e. cotton pads, toothpaste, shoeshine, slippers, etc. Also, do not expect much from breakfast, it is fairly simple and basic, choice is really, very limited. Tiny croissants were nice and fresh, but there were only white and 50/50 sliced bread to toast (no selection of bread rolls), tasteless, tiny blueberry and chocolate muffins (not worth the calories), etc. For £14.50 per person per breakfast, there could have been more variety at buffet. Location was great, but car park is an issue, as hotel does not have parking and nearest parking is expensive. We used park and ride which meant we left our car on our first day and only picked it up on our last day. Luckily we did not need the car to go around the city.

The room was clean, good size, bathroom was perfect for me as I love an over head shower. Free breakfasts were good with a lot of variety, don't see many hotels having breakfast included. Also great location to stay in the city, not far from the station, in easy reach of most places

Our stay at Hampton by Hilton Bath City was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. In fact, we wished we were staying another night! Beautiful, modern accomodations. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was incredible and a very nice gentleman was engaging with guests and was talking about things to see and do in the city.
