This vacation home sits on 2 acres of land in a quiet and safe mountain neighborhood, surrounded by meadows, mountains, lake and trees, making it a perfect place for relax vacation. Quick walk around the lake will take about 30 minutes, 1 mile total - to enjoy mountains in all directions, to feel crispy and pure mountain air.

Endless hiking trails minutes from home in Golden Gate Canyon State Park, access to a private lake in neighborhood, and breathtaking stargazing from the deck await you to relax from a day of exploring surroundings, of skiing or riding at the Eldora Ski Resort or from a fun night in Black Hawk Town. If you like quiet relaxing style vacation, there is a spa-like bathroom with soaking tub and steam shower for two persons, plenty of room for family on a deck, making food on a gas grill, dining and relaxing by fire pit.

Enjoy Colorado's scenery with hiking trails, water sports near by, and drives through high-elevation mountain passes. Minutes from Peak-to-Peak Scenic Byway Road for unique opportunity to drive on top of a mountains and spectacular canyon roads.

If you like winter activities - skating on a lake in our neighborhood, snowshoeing on a property or around the lake; or skiing at Eldora ski resort are the best options. Eldora is the closest ski resort and just 20-min drive from home, good for all level skiers, also great for families and beginners.

The property can have moose, deer, bear, bobcats, bald eagle, hummingbirds, elk, chipmunks and other mountain wildlife visiting and you can be lucky to see it. Always keep a safe distance. We try to keep their homes undisturbed and live together in harmony.

OUTDOORS
Lake is within 3 min walking distance from the home. The lake is 12 feet deep in a middle and is stocked with rainbow trout for catch and release fishing. Two (2) fish rods will be provided for you. Paddle boards, kayaks and other non-motor watercraft are allowed in a lake. Property land and meadows around the lake are great place for snowshoeing. Four (4) pairs - two adult and two kid size - snowshoes and two (2) round snow saucer sleds provided at the house for your use.

Golden Gate Canyon State Park and Panorama Point is 5 min from home.
Gilpin County Recreation Center with 2 pools, kids favorite water slide, and workout facilities is 9 min away. Gilpin County Public Library is 3 min driving from home. Boulder Falls scenic waterwall with hiking trails and easy parking is 30 min away.
