The cottage is absolutely lovely and was perfect for the two of us for our week away. It has pretty much everything you need and is set in a really quiet location. The pub nearby does delicious meals, but you do need to book a table early. We loved being with walking distance from Port Issac, as well as being able to explore other places in the car.
There were a couple of niggles,
- only a microwave and hob. This wasnât a huge problem as we were still able to cook perfectly fine food on the hob (casserole, risotto etc).
- lack of storage in the main bedroom. The chest of drawers was fine and as it was just us, we also used the wardrobe in the other room
- hot water in the kitchen takes a while to get hot. A bit of patience and it was fine, but nothing that can probably be changed
- slightly uncomfortable seating in the lounge area. Itâs ok, but not the best.
However, these were only slight issues and we would definitely stay there again.
