We arrived at 10pm after a long drive. Plenty of car parking space. The reception staff were very welcoming. Room very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.

There was nothing not to love. It’s a beautiful hotel set in stunning grounds. The staff were very helpful, food lovely. I sat by the window and watching golfers golfing. Would love to come back.

Comfortable and enjoyable stay

Room was clean and tidy, food was very good. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Only criticism was that the room was very warm and no air con, luckily we were in a first floor room so we kept the windows open all night

Very nice location, beautiful grounds. Lot of parking space. Nice size rooms. Bath tub was not very practical, in fact dangerous to stand in when having a shower. No air conditioning in rooms but this was not critical.

Lovely friendly staff. Views across the golf course are great. The room was very nice. It had new carpet, but the walls were scuffed and could do with painting. The bathroom was lovely and clean, but the sink had trouble draining and the hand towel holder was loose on the wall. The breakfast was very good, the Cornish full breakfast was served piping hot and was delicious. Had to eat in the bar because the bistro was closed. The bar is fine but the bistro would have made it a more special place to eat. The food was good but not memorable. There were no chef specials. A good selection of wine, beers and drinks.

Great place.

Room serviced everyday. Bar area nice and clean with a restaurant giving huge portions of food with a small menu but a good selection of foods from around the world.
